Videos Going Viral! Take-A-Seat-O

10/26/2017

I think it’s one of the most interesting things in the world how a video all of sudden goes viral.  It almost seems like magic for someone to put something up and then it has millions of views.  I’m super happy that one of my videos has over eleven thousand views (that’s right, how to spell check in google docs)!  Today I’d like you to watch the video above.  I heard about it from David yesterday and it has over 1.6 Million VIEWS in four months!  Watch the video and in your blog post underneath answer the following questions.

1. Why do you think that videos go viral?

2. Why do you think this video was so popular and got shared so many times?
Give reasons for your answer.
3. Do you think creating videos are an effective way to create change?  Why or Why not?
4. What’s your favourite viral video … post a link to it and explain why you think it was able to go viral.    *School Appropriate please :)

1.I think videos go viral because of 7th grade girls on Youtube to long.(And yes that was directed at my sister who watches EVERYTHING on Youtube)
2. Because it was a remix of a popular song.
3. I think that it can create change if it is done properly.
4.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E9U9xS4thxU I think this video went viral because people like to laugh.

Just saying I have seen viedios by youtubers that have million's of views in one day.

1. I think they do because people make it so that it apperars on your watch list and people watch them
2. Because people think it's funny??
3. I think it depends on what kind of video, this kind of video probably won't
4. This video technecly isn't viral but to this person it means ALOT to get this many views
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sqh12FWXDGE
I think people liked this viedeo because IT'S SO SO SO SOOOOO CUTEEEEE

1. I think videos go viral when there well made and there's a lot of effort put into them.
2. Its a parody of Despacito why would it not be famous and get shared I mean come on?
3. They create laughter but they don't make much change in the world.
4. My favorite viral video it went viral because its hilarious here's the link:https://youtu.be/93hq0YU3Gqk

1. I think videos go viral because lots of people like weird things and comedy and usually you can relate to these videos.

2. Lots of mexicans like me understand this but also it gets shared and liked because this song is well known around the world and different people understand this and I think it is a creative topic.

3. Viral videos don't really make a change in the world but on one hand I say yes because it makes people laugh and being happy. But it dosen't change world problems or anything.

4. My favourite viral video is keyboard cat with 48M views. heres the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J---aiyznGQ

1.I think it got viral because there is something unique about it. For example the person in the video is very funny or has crazy talents or unique tricks or has a funny pet.
2.These unique videos get popular because people share them with their friends on social media and share it with more friends and so no.
3.Yes it will help because if the video go viral your message will reach millions of people.
4.I don't watch youtube.

1. I think videos go viral because once 1 person sees the video then he/she passes it on to their friend and then their friend passes it onto their friend and so on and so on.

2. I think this video is so popular because it is a remix of a really famous song.

3. I think it is an effective way to change but only if the video or post is done right ( interesting, funny ) because if it was done wrong (boring, lame) there would be no point in posting it if you really wanted to create change.

4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFH747sK200. I chose this video because people LOVE to laugh and making people laugh is the best trick for one of your videos going viral.

1.I think videos like this go viral because they are based on things like how the video above was based on Decpacito, which is a popular song, and just put a twist on it and made it funny.

2.I think it went viral because it was funny. It was funny because it is about a person who hurts his cheek when he is eating a Dorito, and because it is based on Decpacito, which is a really popular song.

3. I think it is an effective way to create change. I think so because everyone is on the internet now and it is way easier to get it to people instead of telling one person at a time.

4. I think that this video went viral because it is cool watching all the balloons pop and seeing all the ingredients mix together to make an awesome slime. It is also really colorful. her is the link:

1. I think videos go viral because they every single one is unique! They are usually very funny and that sucks people in and then they tell there friends about it and then they tell there friends and so on.

2. I think this video went viral because it is based on a very famous song and it's a parody so there's a funny twist on it they makes it that much better. Also the person who sings it is so happy and it just makes you feel happy and it makes you feel like you're in a good mood.

3. I think that making YouTube videos does not really make that much of a change but then it also kind of does because some videos just make you happy and make you feel good. Also I think they don't because really YouTube won't be able to do everything so I wouldn't want anyone to rely on YouTube

4. I chose this video because it just made me laugh out loud and it put me in a good mood, Also because it has 189+ views!!!!!!!
Here's the link, please watch it!!!!!!

1. I think videos go viral because one person tells everyone they know about it then those people do the same until it has a lot of views

2. I think this video went viral because the guy is very funny and he can make funny faces as well

3. I think that making youtube videos is use less but it does kind of help because if you are bored then you can pull a youtube video and watch it

4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1tF2dF67Q2c
I think this video went viral *6 mil views* because it's very funny and it's actually a remix of a marketing ad.

1. I think videos go viral because the youtubers do comedy and good content and people usually like comedy and good content.
2. Because it’s a parody of a very popular song called Despacito and, Take a seat o it’s funny. Also the dentist in the video was able to convey to viewers in an interesting way to visit a dentist in case of emergency and for regular check-ups.
3. There are different kinds of videos being created. There are music videos, educational videos, comedy videos and informational videos. Music and comedy video probably don’t not make a change but they do make people feel good. On the other hand, educational and informational videos do make a difference because they help people to learn and raise awareness about timely issues. For example, there are a lot of videos with information on damage to environment calling people to action.
4. This video is sooooooo messed up. It had 3.5 million views.

1. I think that videos go viral because they can be very funny, entertaining and very exciting to watch. I had a connection to Jumaana's, I think they go viral because they are based on the same thing. Say a person was doing a song and you were doing Despacito, but you sang a complete different beet to it it wouldn't make sense. But if you sang a song like that one it is making a connection

2. I no for a fact that this was HILARIOUS and I mean hilarious! This video must of took hours to come up with the lyrics, make up words that rhyme properly and to get all the equipment and thats a lot off money and time. This person is probably very talented. It takes time to do this. This man probably has a very incredible life.

3. I think that is does create change, because everyone is good and talented in at least one thing. if you show your talent and what you are good at it will create change in your life. Even just watching videos creates change in life because you are expressing your - self and challenging your - self to do more things, and that is what life is all about.

4. its on google classroom! :-)

1- I think this vidio went viral because its a funny thing almost like a vine on the internet also it's a famous song just a little different liyics to go with the beat.

2- I think it went popular because i was hillarious vidio a dentist singing to one of the on air songs means that people want to see some one that they may or may not know because they think it was funny. :) yay

3- I think it did make a change because it was all videos were at 0 views at some point right to go all the way up to a ugh number like in the millions or thousands and up is amazing to do that.

4- my favorite i well I don't know really this one is in my top 10 fo sure.

1. I think videos go viral because a lot of effort is put into making a video and because people try to do stuff that they think will get a lot of views or a lot of likes.
2. I think the video went viral because Despacito is a very popular song and that the person changed up the lyrics to be funnier. It also talks about a subject that many people can relate to "going to the dentist".
3. Yes, I think creating videos are an effective way to create change because you can reach a large audience (especially through the internet), and you can deliver messages in a clever and funny way, so people understand the message and remember it.
4. My favorite video is
"This Is The Most Satisfying Video Ever!!!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jTFgeFxVhU
I like this video because they are creating things :)
