Thankful! Very Thankful!

Last weekend was Thanksgiving, a time to look back on all our blessings and to spend some time reflecting on the positive relationships, and the good in our lives. I hope that you got a chance to do this with your family and friends and even if you don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, it’s a good time to be grateful for all the positive in our lives. For your blog post this week, I’d like you to write a paragraph that explains what you’re thankful for and WHY. It should be specific and written as a paragraph, with a topic sentence, body sentences, and a conclusion. Here’s mine:
With the smell of hot food cooking, vegetables being roasted, and a fire in the fireplace, I feel thankful. This year has been a tough year in some ways and in other ways, truly amazing. I feel very thankful this year for my family; for Jacey, Vera, and Stella and for the ways in which they all contribute to make my life feel full, meaningful, crazy, and complete. It’s such a joy to come home to my family and having them supporting me makes me feel truly blessed. That’s why I’m thankful this holiday.

i went to my grandmas house and when i came in the smell of tasty turkey and delicous ham was all around the house it was a great smell.on sunday i went to another 1 of my grandparnts house there was 2 turkeys rather than 1.when i came in then i saw shrimp and salmon

On 2016/10/8 When my sisters from University came home with all my family members. On thanking giving we had Turkey and my favorite Desert... Pumpkin Pie with whip cream, After that our family member talked for a while while I went to do my homework, then everyone went home and then did our usual routines.

As the cold, wet air blowing to my face, I felt my feet touching the smooth ice. I was at the skating rink, with my dad, and my friend Jacqueline. I was gliding down the ice, chatting and playing with her. This weekend in some reasons can be boring, but in other ways, I felt thankful, to my family and my friends. It's always joyful to be with them, they made my life failed with happiness, playfulness, and pleasureful. That's what I'm thankful for this holiday.

I could smell the tasty turkey cooking all threw the afternoon. I was at my cottage with my family. We were celebrating thanksgiving. Over this weekend there are lots of things to be thankful for. The thing I am thankful for the most is my family and friends. The spend a huge part in my life by being loyal, helpful and meaningful, that makes my heart full with happiness. This is one of the many things I am grateful for.

I could smell the delicious turkey through out the house.I was in the house talking to me nanna as the turkey was pulled out the oven. Over this weekend their are many things I am thankful for so here they are. I am thankful that my family is safe.I am thankful that everyone around me is cared for and loved.I am thankful foe everyone who has ever helped me in life succeed and helped me use my creativity to the fullest and to learn as far as I can. With the wind brushing against me when my dad was videotaping, the air was like an ice cube, the water was like a snow storm. Then my mom said let go Evan then she said are you sure. Then I jumped like a kangaroo then I swam back to the ladder and I got out. Then my mom got me dressed like with a hoodie and socks on my hands. So that’s why I am thankful for water and how we can drink it so thank you canada for water.

This Thanksgiving my Mom's best friend came from Windsor to celebrate with us. It was wonderful to spend time with family and friends this year. This year I am particularly thankful for my whole family because they give me joy, happiness and love every single day. I am also thankful for my family being healthy, well and very active. My family and I always have the best times together no matter what! This year we shared are joy with are extremely close friends. This is why I'm thankful this year.

When I woke up, the warm smell of turkey rose up through my nose. When my bare feet touched the cold oak floor I suddenly realized that it was Thanksgiving! Two by two, my family started pouring in like a school of sardines. I glanced outside, only to see that every fifth house there was 3 or more cars in the driveway. When I sat down, I saw my whole family, (at least my moms side) spread out in front of me at the ebony table. That's what I'm thankful for this year!

It was a partly cloudy day when I jumped out of my bed and looked though into the windows. I saw cold fogs, and rabbits chewing grass. My mom, was cooking the turkey in the oven and I smelled the smoke. As when she got the turkey out of the oven, we were all in fancy suits waiting for the food. She after then made pumpkin pie and I was very surprised. We are now sitting down, eating the parts of the turkey. We then ate not my least but last food or dessert which was pumpkin pie. Instead of putting whip cream on it, I putted ice cream on it. It was a very spectacular pumpkin pie (Probably one of the best pumpkin pies ever). It wasn't a good Thanksgiving but at least I enjoyed it. I am very thankful for everything what I have. This was the most thankful Thanksgiving EVER!

This thanksgiving me and my family went up to our family cottage. As we were driving in the car I thought, I am thankful for my cottage and family getting to do all these things. I looked out at the vast forest around us and smelled the aroma of fresh wood being burnt. That night as I was reading i smelled the heavy scent of turkey making its way through our small cottage. This thanksgiving has been wonderful with my family up at the cottage.

As i woke up bright and early to drive to my cousins house I was blasting my music through my headphones. I climbed my cousins tree and we went to the park and of course we had turkey. Then sadly it started raining but we still decided to have our pie and go outside again. I am very thankful for everyone and everything.

When I woke up on Thanksgiving, there was only one thought in my head. MY FRIENDS WERE COMING OVER!!! I was so excited. Unfortunately, they didn't come right away. But we are not here to talk about what was not good, we are here to talk about what I am thankful for. I am thankful for my family. My friends and friends who are not my best friends (who I play with at school.) I am thankful for my life. Hey, and while we are on topic, I AM THANKFUL FOR EVERYTHING!!!

I sat in my car, head against the cold, foggy window. I had my book in front of my face, the words resonating around in my mind. The car rounded a turn and pulled into the asphalt driveway, small stones spitting out behind the tires. I stepped out into the chilly autumn air. I snatched up the baguette and cheese loaf we had brought as a contribution to the family dinner. I walked up the path and into the house, my shoes clipping the stone. Different cooking aromas wafted up around me as I stepped inside. My family members came to greet me. My mother's cousins, my Nana, and my little cousin and everyone else. I smiled and thought about just how thankful I was to have each and everyone of them.

Sometimes you complain about things that don't bother your one bit, you think that nothing is going your way and you don't want to do the things your parents tell you to do. Then you think about some of the people that aren't able to get the things that you have, they have things that aren't worth anything to you but is one of values in their life . I am thankful for the people that care for me, look after me and helped me get through the things that have been a struggle. One of those people are my parents, they wake up at the times when your still in deep sleep, come home hours after you have finished school, just think about what they have to go through just to provide for you. I am thankful for other things also such as my sister who helps me with things that she has once struggled with, like my dad who goes on business trips to provide for my family. I hope one day I could do something to pay back for all of the things that they have done for me.

At thanksgiving night, my grandparents, my parents and I had a dinner at home. We talked a lot, my parents felt so proudly of my growing last year. In the past year, my teachers and my friends helped me to learn a lot. So, my abilities and skills improved quickly. I am very thankful to my parents, my teachers and friends.

When you think poorly about your family, you don't relies how much they mean to you. I am thankful for my mom, because she cooks food for us, my dad, because he works a lot to buy us food, pay gas bills and waterbills, and the rest of my family, and my teacher.

If you were there, you would know what kind of a day it was. It was just amazing. It was a family gathering at my aunt's house. I mean, we would love to listen to our parents talk about business stuff we don't even understand for hours, but we also got to see our cousins. We don't usually see them, so it was a special day for us. We started of with playing a game of manhunt around the neighborhood. And the two remaining people where the ones who went with each other. Noah, and Matthew. When we where eating lunch, we then later found out when they came home late that they had spent the day at the swamp. And the face on everyone was just priceless. That they had spent that whole time at the swamp, and we got to do nothing. And they finished coming through the door and crowds of words and questions, they began to eat lunch too. The lunch was delicious. At family gatherings, we usually eat Chinese food or Jamaican food. And that the way it stays, and we all love it. I am thankful to be in such a rich family. Not by money but by family. If you don't know what I mean, it is likely you don't have one, or you just never care to pay attention. The meaning in that is, not everyone has a family like any of us. One that you love, or are thankful for. Because not everything or anyone HAS the opportunity to feel that. And that is why, I am thankful for my family.

The door opened up wide as my aunt and my cousin came into the warm comfort of the house and a blast of cool air came with them. Today was thanksgiving the time to be thankful for all the happiness in each of your lives every day. I am thankful for the food that I eat, the home that I live in, The friends that I can see, family that I go home to also, the school that I educated myself in. The food helps me do well at school and so I can focus the food I am grateful for. I am thankful to come home from school to a warm house and to be able to sleep under a roof that is solid. I am grateful to have friends some one to see at school ( other than my brothers) friendship is something that is much better then some math class. I think about my family around thanksgivings they have supported me all my life and that is something that will help me a lot at hard times. Finally I am happy to go to a good school that supplies a good egd casting and awesome teachers!

After I came downstairs to greet my family with hugs and kisses I went to the basement with my cousin sierra and did some arts and crafts. When we came up for dinner The whole house smelled like delicious food and for dessert we had pie ice cream and brownies! It was awesome! I'm Thank full for My family, My house and How much food we have.

after i ran downstairs like i always do, i said hello to my family after a looooong time of playing video games, and felt thankful for everything i had! my laptop, my family, my mass collection of random toys, my pets, and a WHOLE LOT MORE! we had ice-cream, and watched a movie together! it was great! thats why im thankful for everything i have!

Saturday morning it was then when I woke up, Me and my friend had a sleepover the past night. We had big day ahead of us we were going to have lots of fun today I just knew it. My friend and I went down stairs to see pancakes, the pancakes were delicious! When we finished breakfast my friends mom said there was a food drive going on at the park near there house, she also said when you donate something you get a free pumpkin so we headed out to the park. My friend and I road scooters to the park when we got there we gave the people doing the food drive our donations and got a pumpkin. Only then did we realize it would be tricky to get our pumpkins home. What I did was put my pumpkin on my scooter and then sit on it, once I was siting on the pumpkin I lowered the handlebars and then started to move. Later on in the day my dad came to get me and I brought my pumpkin home. After I got home I can´t quite remember, but I did go out somewhere and when I came home my pumpkin was gone... I walked inside and there I saw my pumpkin, but not really my pumpkin what I was looking at instead was a pumpkin soup ready to sever on Thanksgiving!
