Successful People ...

How do you define success?  Are you feeling successful?  This very interesting TedEd talk by Richard St.John takes conversations that he has had with extremely successful people and he has found 8 traits or things that they all do that have helped them succeed.  For your blog post this week, I want you to pick one of these 8 traits and decide how you will use it this week, and what that will look like?  Will you demonstrate passion during a sports event? Will you persist through a tough subject at school?  It's totally up to you what you pick but write down a plan and see if it helps!

This week I will work towards improving my descriptive writiting skills when I am given a topic I may not like writing about. I will do this by using ideas I have for other stories and incorporating them into the story I have to write as given task. I hope to improve this because I am really bad at right with descriptive words when I am given a topic.

I'm going to strive towards building up my success in collaborating well with groups I don't feel like I work well with, but give it my best work while listening to their ideas and making sure we all have a say in our work. I chose to improve on this because I KNOW it is going to be needed a lot in life!

#1 is probably my favorite because I have noticed that if I am doing something that I like I do the best I can and if I am doing something that i dislike than I do not have my heart in it and I do not do my best. I think that I will try to love every thing that I do this week and the world will seem like a happier place to live.

This week I am going to focus on focusing on different math strategies that can help go faster while still getting the right answer because it will be helpful later in life when I need to get the answers fast for projects when I'm working on and it will just be easier.

I think number 7 is something I should work on because sometimes I don't include other people in my goals when in reality I should, I am working on this by baby steps but not so much.

This week I am going to focus on writing more descriptvely, so the reader would not get bored. If I keep practicing, my writing I would definitely be successful.

How do you defined success?: Achieving something you wanted to do.

Are you felling successful?: Yes because most days, I do what I set out to do.

Persist: I will train with the older group at water polo even though I find it difficult to keep up with them.

i chose passion because passion is what drives you places so basically to define the word passion to me would be if you love it do it and don't give up no matter what and if you want to get better at it try and try again so that is what i will do this week no matter what i am doing if i like to do it i have to try try again and I'm not saying if you don't like something like science I'm not saying don't try I'm just saying if you really like something just keep trying and some day you could even be the best at it just hop in the car of passion and you can drive your self to were ever you want to go weather you ant to make a varsity sport team or get you art work into a art show an Olympic swimmer it doesn't matter as long as you are in the car

I picked trait number 4 "PUSH" Because you need to push yourself to get better and this week I am going to push myself in reading more because I don't normally read. Reading is not my passion but I need to push myself to read more!

I picked trait number 8 because if I want to be something or achieve a goal I can't just give up and say it is to hard.

My passion for animals allowed me an opportunity to dog sit for a week. Every morning I got up before everyone else at 6:00 to walk the dog. Then I had to feed the dog even though I had to get myself ready for school and when I got home the dog would go crazy and jump up and down because she missed me so much and I would take her for a walk to the park. Then at night she would sleep with me in my bed and she would always stick close to me where ever I went. I spent a lot of time teaching the dog tricks. By the end of the week she could spin around in circles and jump up in the air.
I think that my week with the dog was successful.

i choose 8 persist because giving up means you haven't tried hard enough and being persist can help you later in life

I choose number 3, focus because I always seem to go of track when I am trying to to what someone told me to do. to try to do this I will NOT focus on other people in my family and what they are doing rather then what I am supposed to be doing.

I would chose #6 because i need to improve in everything because there is no stop improving. Like i would improve my handwriting so it becomes neater and also my cursive to become better and increase my vocabulary.

I choose #6 because I need to improve on many things example, math area and volume. I'm not that good at that but I'm not going to give up! I'm going to keep doing the work until I understand it. Now this can help you in life because you can give up on something and then when your older you will need something but you can't do it because you gave up yet if you kept trying you would be able to do it easily.

I define success by making goals and achieving them. Also by working hard And not giving up until you achieve what your working towards. The word the word I think define's success is "Achieve".
I am Feelling successfull because i have achieved alot of goal's that I have been working towards, and I just feel like I have mad it far in what I want to do. I hope to be more descriptive when I am writing stories/the writing at the start of the day. I plan to achieve this by taking more time and thinking harder instead of rushing through it.
