Snow Day Memories!

   Watch the video above that a teacher has made about how she feels about snow days. I found this video so entertaining, what a fun teacher she must be. Snow days are the neatest thing for teachers because it’s one of those things that you don’t lose as you grow up. Teachers and students love snow days the same way. They’re a freebie day, one that you don’t expect and then when they come, they’re totally yours.
   For your blog post this week, I’d like you to write about the best snow day that you can remember. Remember, when you write a retell, it’s all about capturing the day by using descriptive words and bringing the reader into the experience with you. I will start with my example.
   I woke up early, thinking, yes, there’s definitely a chance. I rushed to the window and excitedly pulled back the curtain. “Jacey, wake up!!! SNOW DAY!!!”. She didn’t move so I picked up the iPad and checked the website, it was real, a real snow day!” I knew that I would make the most of this day with both Jacey and Vera. We called up our other teacher friends and after a gruelling hour of shovelling, met up with them for a snowy walk downtown. As we all got hot chocolates and coffee at the shop, Vera fell fast asleep in the coffee shop. After taking her picture, I realized, snow days are family days now!

Before I went to sleep I looked outside and saw all white! I thought of all the things I wanted to do and all the toys I wanted to play with! I was still sleepy but I ran to ask my Mom if today was going to be a snow day? When she said yes I was so happy! we have hot chocolate and watched some movies. It was great!

I woke up in a panic thinking my mom hadn't woke me up for school, I came down the stairs and my mom told me it was a snowday! We stayed inside for a bit and then went outside and played with some friends on our street. Someone brought hot chocolate so we had some hot chocolate. Then after lunch we went to pinemeadow park to sled with the girls in our class. After that, we went back to our neighbour's and made some tunnels. It was a very fun day!

I woke up then I saw it was a SNOW DAY! I was so happy and there was a meter of snow I ran down the stairs then I got my snow pants on then my boots and my coat, tuque, and gloves on and ran out side and shovelled the drive way then I went in side and drank hot chocolate.

I woke up one mornning and my mom told me it was a snow day! That day after lunch I went sledding it was so much fun. I stayed there for a wile then I went home to warm up and drink hot chocolate. Mmmmm...

On my snow day we were told we had to ENJOY the snow! NO DEVICES!!! My Mom took my brother and I outside to play with my crazy boxer, Sol.
We played badminton and used my Brother as the birdie and it was so much fun when we hit he with the badminton rackets, sending him giggling back and forth between my Mom and myself.
We then went inside to warm up a little with some hot chocolate decided we really wanted to enjoy more of our snow day, so we went back outside and found a hill in our yard to roll down. I'm pretty sure I steam rolled my brother a few times. It was a very fun snow day!

i woke up and i hoped it would be a snow day and my dad said in the bathroom "its a snow day!" because he always showers every day i ran downstairs and started to watch tv also this was the double snow day so i woke up the next day in exitment jumped out of bed and looked out my window and saw it was still very snowy i was like there is a preety good chance that it will be a snow day.

Last night, I put my jammies inside out and hoped that it would be a snow day. I woke up and hopped out of my bed. I ran down stairs to see if it was a snow day. I opened the door and saw a ton of snow. SNOW DAY I yelled. I had breakfast as fast as I could. Then got dressed and went right outside to play in the snow. I made a snowfort and went back inside and had hot chocolate.

I was so excited that I saw the snowflakes coming down from the sky and I quickly waked up my sister and we got in to the snow. We started playing in the snow, we built a huge mountain and we we made a tunnel through the mountain and we had a fun day.

My favourite snow day was this year's double snow day! When I woke up the first day, could it really be? It's a snow day! After a long hours of waiting for our streets to be plowed we finally got to go toboganning with my friend. We went backwards, spinned around and fell off going down the hill but it was still so much fun having a snow day.

The best snow day, I woke up at 9 am and went downstairs as I walked down the stairs I could smell pancakes. When I got downstairs my mom told me it was a snow day. Then I ate brekfast and raced outside and played in the snow with my dog and I tryed to build a snow fort but my dog ben kept walking in the pile of snow , but instead we just ran around and played tung a war. Then I came in for some hot chocolate. Lastly my family and I watched a moive and went to bed.

My favoret snowday is the only one I CAN remember! This snowday lasted 2 days! This was extra exiting becuase it is the only one I can remeber and my mom made it seem like a normal school day but when I got dressed and went down stairs my mom told me it was a snow day! In those 2 days I went sleding! in that same day I went again but it wasn't as fun. The next day I cant remember much of but I remember is that I was on my Ipad a lot. That is why that was my favourite snow day!

hi i am hitarth just to pop in to tell you about my best snow day. HERE IT IS. I woke up early for school .Then i saw c.h.nortons mail !!!
they were saying all school closed because of major snowstorm.
i was very excited. When i went out to clean the snow i made a new friend! His name was Braiden. Braiden had a sister and a dog named lucy. Braiden and i were making a tunnel there were 2 endings so we can se each other. we played about 3 hours. This was the best snow day ever i hope you liked it

well i hate snow i dont like snow they make me stress and when i get in the school after reacess i shruggle the just because theres a floor with water on it just because snow and your pants get wlite and my shoes get wlite and now im angry i feel like i want to go BACK home NOW !!!!! ................. i give snow a ...3 out of 10

When I woke up at 7:30am to school I went to the window and I saw that it is a SNOW DAY!! I was so happy that it's a snow day that I don't have to go to school so I ate breakfast after I race outside and played in the snow I build a snowman ☃️ and make snowballs I threw them to my sister we played snowball fight it was so much fun to play in the snow!. That is why that is my favorite snow day ever!❄️🌨️

one day I woke up at 7:00 to get ready for school but when I woke up it was a snow day. I was so happy so got on fortnite all my friends were on. I played fortnite all day best snow day ever.

my favourite snow day is this i woke up and got sum breakfast and i saw so much snow on the ground and i new it would be a snow day and that was my favourite snow day.and i usually don't now when there is a snow day and at that time i was so happy.
