Watch this video of a CRAZY jump that has over 6 million views on youtube. What I want to know is, do you think it’s real? What proof do you have that this is true and accurate. What do the creators of the video do to give this video validity and authenticity?
We live in an era where we hear the term “fake news” constantly. But can we recognize when news is fake and when it’s real? For your blog post this week, I want you to jot down how you recognize when a story is fake, and can you post an example of “clickbait” (screenshot if you can) or describe how you know when something is clickbait.

its fake because the man would have to break bones and suffer until he can actually get in the pool and second its a very shallow dive and he could possibly get knocked out

I think its fake because if they miss they could break a bone or possible die so an a dont think they would make that jump is far and the pool is so tiny.

I think it is fake because it is such a small pool.
Where ever he landed on his body he could of hurt himself. It looked like he landed on his knees.

I think this is fake because, they didn't put a lot of water on the slide, and because the pool is like one of the kiddie pools, so when he landed he probably would have broken his bones, and popped the pool.

This video gives people the impression it’s real because everything looks real. The background, people, and the way the scene is setup all looks real. The video looks like it’s been taken in all one shot, so there isn’t any pausing to edit it. Towards the end of the video, the people come to the pool where he had just landed in and congratulate him. This makes the video appear more realistic. This is why I think the video is giving people the impression it’s real.

In my opinion this video is fake. This video is fake is at one point, you can’t see him when he’s sliding down. The water ramp disappears into the grass. I also think the physics are way off because when he slides down, he jumps much higher than the start of the water slide. Finally, I also think that when you’re watching the video you can hear the noise of the water and him sliding down the slide. That doesn’t make very much sense because the camera filming this is far away from the slide, so how would the person filming hear something you would have to be so close to hear? That means that the sound is probably added in to the video and edited to make it more realistic. Overall because of all the reasons I think the video is fake.

I think it's fake because it is impossible for somebody to land that jump without getting hurt unless they were superman. And it has to be edited. they probably used a fake person at one point and did some editing to make it look real.

I think it is fake because it is too shallow and if he did land in the water they would probably die.He would hit the ground of the pool and die and if they didn't drop in the pool then they would hit the ground and die so it is to big of a risk also it is very unlikely the they would get the angle right.

I belive this video is fake because they didnt put that much water on that slip and slide thing . Also beacuse when they put the water on the slide in would of went on into the grass .Another reson I think its fake is beacause when he goes up into the air you cant see him go on to the wooden ramp or you can and i just cant see propely. And the water in that pool is very shallow .Another thing I have noticed is that the sound of when he slid down the the slide sounds like he is on a sled wich he is not so they must of edited the sound . I just think its too much of a risk .!

I think it's fake because the way he flys UP doesn't look real to me. I think because he's a full grown man and GRAVITY he would fall to the ground seconds before he got in the tiny pool.

I bet it's fake becuse the hill is not high enough to slide and the pool is not big enough. The human could just hit his self on the ground and break his bones. There is gap that there not showing in the inside if the slide so i bet that is IMPOSSIBLE . The pool is too tiny to go in and no one could fly up high like that! the human would die and it's to dangeros to do that kind of thing. He cuold land on the grass so hard! And too SHALLOW.

I think that this video is fake. The proof that I have is that when he went up he couldn't have gone so high because gravity would pull him down in the middle of the air and the ramp looks rough and you wouldn;t know if its smooth cause the camera dosen't show the ramp. Second is if it was real and he landed in the pool he could have gotten hurt cause the pool is so small.

I think the video is fake because of the following reasons, they did not put enough water on the slide, you can't see part of the course, the pool was not deep enough, and he would have been hurt landing like that. Also, because the noise of the splash was too loud for where the cameraman was. I also think the body position in the air does not look natural.

Its falls because the size of the pool and the distance of the jump is way too far from the distance of the ramp to the pool and the pool is way too small if way too little water. So there was no way that he would have survived without at least breaking a bone.If it was a big pool that he would have survived but its still Falls in my opinion because of the fact that the jump is way too long and the pool is way too small.

Firstly, I watched this video 4 times and then I asked my mom and dad to watch the video too. I think that this video is fake because it seems impossible for this guy to slide so perfectly from the slide over into the pool when it is so far away. The guy is not wearing much safety equipment except for a helmet and if something went wrong, where is the ambulance or doctors or any medical help. I think it is possible that the people who made the video edited the video so it could look real and many people would click on the video or link and buy the slide or the pool or whatever else they are trying to sell.

The reason why I think it is fake is because the force he is coming in with he would hit his head on the side of it and die and second the force of him hitting the water would also hurt him a lot

I think this video is not real. The proof I have for my opinion is when they poured water the sound was low, but when he slid down it was so loud and sounds like a rocket launching into space and when he splashed in the water it was so loud and when he came out of the water it did no make a noise.

And so mr.steltman the video did not work but i did the best i could from when we watched it all together so ya i had to do it off memory and that was vary hard to do it off memory so ya i did the best i could.So the reason i think this is fake because the pool was vary shallow and when i jump in to the deep part off a swimming pool i touch the bottom with my feet so i donẗ think that this is real because he was also going really fast and from that high i think that he would get really hurt so i think that is fake.

I think this is a fake video because there is no way someone can do that without wearing full protection. The part where he was released off the ramp was edited I think because I don't how they could've lined up the pool perfectly with the ramp. He could've gone at a different speed each time so how would they know where he was going to land.
