Scarily Descriptive!

As we are coming up to a SCARY event next week, I thought our blog post could help us get into the mindset of this freaky season. This week you have a choice of what to write about.
Using PROPER PARAGRAPH form, you can either write:
From the perspective of a child going through a very scary haunted house for the first time, including everything they would hear, feel, barely see, etc. Can you write the experience so that it feels like we’re in the haunted house with them. What sounds might happen, what thoughts might they have? Let your imagination run wild!
or
You can describe the scariest costume you can imagine. Include clear descriptions of colours, looks, everything. This can be a costume that you've worn, want to wear or just thought of.
The goal for this is for you to practice your descriptive writing and using different, powerful adjectives that will help you TERRIFY your reader. Transport them to the haunted house, or create the costume in the mind so they quake with fear. Good Luck! MWAH-AH-AH!

Once I was 5 and saw my first haunted house. I wanted to go inside so badly, I asked my mom if I could go in, and she said "yes you can go inside". When I went inside I thought my eyes were closed it was so dark. Then I heard an "oooooooooooo" and then I stumbled on something made of hard wood!? It was stairs!! I was not happy. I saw a ghost that was so white and transparent I could barely see it. It was at least 8 feet tall. I wanted to go home so badly so I screamed to my mom "I WANT TO GO HOME"! I stared to cry. When we got outside I was so happy to be out and finally going home.

My costume would be a clown with glow up pants with stripes and for the top it would be blood. The face would be bloody and white also with red and green. For the eyes they would be green and the mouth it would be fangs with blood. The shoes would be black and green also red.

The scariest costume I can imagine is a realistic werewolf coming at me! His fur looked like an actual werewolf in real life. The fur is brown and spiky. It is giant and staring down with disgusting, red eyes. His teeth are sharp enough to have the food from his last meal still on it. It was so bloody I dream about it at night. His claws had blood on them from his last fight he took. Werewolves are the scariest animal I ever thought of.

I was so scared I could pass out as I walked into the house. I could hear ghosts and see werewolf scratches on the walls. All of a sudden a door slammed closed and someone walked up behind me and touched my shoulder with a bloody hand. I screamed and tried to run but the door was locked shut. And then I got knocked out by a skeleton with a baseball bat. Then I woke up in a pit full of bones. How am going to escape?! Then I heard chains on a gate open and vampires chased me. I saw a door open and I slid to get out just in time before it closed and the vampires started burning in the sunlight. The end.

When you walk in, the door creeks. The size of it is like a big shack. When you look around you will see lots of cob webs and maybe the house haunter. The house haunter looks like a ghost of a ghoul. You might also see blood dripping from the ceiling. You would probably feel terrified. It smells like smoke or steam. You would hear people screaming and the house haunter moan or shriek.

My scary costume would be a Grim Reaper with a long black robe a skull face and a long Scythe The black robe would be so dark you can’t even see the black and the scythe curved and the scythe covered in blood the skull face is cracked and the eyes are glowing

The scarist thing I've ever done was going into a haunted house. No lights were on it was pitch black. The house is creaky and creepy. It is cold in the house.it felt like some person was watching me. A book was moving its self. It is erry. Irriatating me. So I ran out and never returned

Once there was a boy walking by the street. He saw a scary haunted house and he got in to it the . When he went inside and it was dark. He saw a spider, it was a black widow spider and it was very poisonous . The boy ran as fast as he could. When he was walking, he heard a creaking sound, he followed the sound then he saw a door. The door slowly opened there was a ghost, seeing the ghost he ran. While he was running a big giant hungry werewolf saw him and ate him.

My costume is going to look so good, it's going to have a clown mask with a red smile and blue eyes. For the suit it's an escaped convict like a yellow jump suit with a number like 3585, and a hand cuff on my arm.

For my costume, it is going to be a Zombie-Dino. The skin is rippled and is red, green, pink and black. There is lots of blood on the skin, and the skin has tears and scratches where you can see it's ribcage and guts. The teeth are shining and bright, with rows of sharp teeth on top of sharp teeth. The claws are long and curved like a raptor's . They both have the blood and guts of the victims on them. The eyes are blood red. I would be terrified if I saw a Zombie Dino.

My costume would be a fun nice clown with colurful colths . A big yellow nose and red shecks and a white face and really big shoses .I think that would be a funny costume.

One dark scray night on halloween me and my friends were trick or treating and we past the hanted house and one of my friends said Im not scraed we all agreed but when I said me to all my friends looked back at me and said you never went in a hanuted house before so they said if your not scraed go in so I said okay.so I went in but there was a jumpscare but I did'nt flinch. so I kept walking and I did'nt flinch for the hole walk so finished and told my friends I did'nt flinch. but they did'nt believe me so they said before you went in we hide a camera in your costume so they checked the footage and I did'nt flinch they said I could have all there candy. the end.

The moon is rising one halloween night. A girl is going in to a haunted house. She was very very scared. She found a flashlight so she could see where she was going. She thought to her self, if I went through this haunted house, think how much candy I would get. Her worst fear was clowns. There were clown pictures and clown statues. There was even a clown rug. She screamed very loudly and ran through the rest of the haunted house.

One spooky halloween night. A boy went into the haunted house. He went boom and the door shut by itself. He walked in every step the floor creaked. A voice said welcome to the spooky haunted house. You have to get out of this house as fast as you can. If you don't, you will get trapped here forever. Good luck. so the boy see if there is a clue so he pressed on a book the wall spinedhe went in there was a door he went in and there was a ginormous fly trap and he has to fit it and he beat the fly trap he past and he went out the haunted house and went back to his home and lived happily ever after THE END.
