Ontario-A Place to Grow

Watch the following video that’s been put out by the Ontario Government to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday. As an ad, I found this a powerful and uplifting message; the message that all are welcome to grow, here in Ontario. For your blog this week, can you write a letter to someone who is coming to Ontario, or Oakville and explain to them why Ontario is such a special province, why it matters so much to you. Be sure to explain specific things that you enjoy doing here in Ontario, and how Ontario has helped you grow into the person you are. This is our chance to celebrate our amazing province and to share our love of it with the world! I can’t wait to see what you write. I can start with an example:

It’s so great that you’ve chosen Ontario as your place to grow and live. Ontario is a special province with many amazing opportunities. I love Ontario for the lake, for Toronto, Burlington, and Oakville. It’s been so nice to be able to have and raise my daughters here, where they are free to become who they want to be. My family loves the parks in our city and the provincial parks to camp. Ontario is a land of great diversity and you’re going to love it here! Welcome to Ontario.

im so glad you chose Ontario for where you live its a good place with nice people.oh and its pretty good for fishing. there lakes are cool. Oh and there is so many different provinces such as Burlington,Toronto,Hamilton and oakvile (the best one ).but there are many points of interest such as the cn tower,Rodgers center,bmo field,lake ontario and royal ontario museum. I think you've made a good chocie by moving to ontario

I really don't know what to say of all the places, of all of the places and amazing places of the world you landed here right in Ontario. Well... You're in for a heck of a time in Ontario, there is so many places to visit, so many people to meet. But above all you have a nice community and nice people to greet you every day. Ontario means so much to people to know that they can rest in peace and not worry. Ontario means so much to me, because of friends, places, family, (electronics), and just about anything. Once you arrive in Ontario you will never leave. You will be stuck in joy and happiness because of Ontario.

Also, Mr.Steltman would use a capital and most likely type 'Mr' in front of his last name. AND take a look at the Grammar Police under Brian's post. The ticket does NOT sound like something Mr.Steltman would point out. And he spelled error wrong. Grammar Police isn't Steltman. It's probably multiple people.

It’s so great that you’ve chosen Ontario as your place to grow and live. I love Ontario for having four seasons and all the things they bring with them. Here we have great game called hockey that I love to play. Also when it snows hard we make snowmen. Just don't forget the Polar Dip. Here we have Maple Syrup Festivals, everywhere. Also we can have hayrides in the fall. We have amazing trails, parks and tennis courts. We have sights to see like Niagara falls, CN Tower and the ACC. The final thing is the people here are great. They are friendly and happy to share this great province with you.

Hello and welcome to Ontario, Ontario is such a great place there are many attractions to see and on top of that the capital of Canada is in Ontario. The name of the capital of Canada is Ottawa. Ottawa is very cool go visit, especially in the winter. In the winter there is so mush snow and there is a big area of water that turns into an giant ice rink. That place is called the Rideau Canal. Dear friends,

Welcome to Ontario there are so many awesome things that you can do here. I haved lived here all of my life. You can be anyone you want to be. Last summer we stayed in Ontario to do the Toronto CityPASS. It's it's such a great experience to do if you haven't seen any attractions in Toronto. Some of the attractions are the CN Tower which is the tallest tower in Canada and the fourth in the world, and they have a glass floor there so you can see down if you're not afraid of heights.There is Casa Loma it's a castle that they film some movies there.There's also the Royal Ontario Museum also known as the ROM. There are different exhibits there like dinosaurs Egyptian Rome and special exhibitions that will cost a couple extra dollars but worth it.There's also the Ripley's Aquarium of Canada where they have sharks fishes cleaning shrimp and a whole bunch of other stuff. It was fun I would suggest watching or doing the cleaning shrimp it cleans off your dirty nails and it felt like a little tickle on your hands. I would definitely check out Ripley's Aquarium of Canada.Then there’s the Toronto Zoo or the Science Center it's a tough choice both of them are really good. In the Toronto Zoo you can see pandas but I would go earlier than before it opens if you want to see the pandas. It's a long line up they are so cute it's worth the wait and there's other baby animals like a baby rhinoceros, a baby polar bear. There are other cute babies there too so I would definitely check it out,or there's the Science Center which is loads of fun you can watch a movie in the cool theater but pick a movie that is good for your family. There are loads of the exhibits there like space human body cool gadgets and some fun games that involve science. If you want more information about the Toronto CityPASS and what's it costs for your family. here is the link http://www.citypass.com/toronto.
If your family likes sports then we have lots of them here like Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Hockey and football. For baseball we have the Toronto Blue Jays, for soccer we have the TFC also known as Toronto Football Club, for basketball we have the Toronto Raptors, for hockey we have the Toronto Marlies and the Toronto Maple Leafs, for football we have the Toronto Argonauts and the Hamilton tiger-cats they're both really good teams.
There are so many beautiful things in Ontario that don't even cost that much money or don't even cost money. Then there is this place in Ontario call Thornbury. It is beautiful over there you can go on walks with your family in the downtown area there's lots of shops and lots of beautiful stuff but you can see beautiful trees and you could also go on bike rides to the Georgian Trail it's been there for 50 years now and it goes from Collingwood to Meaford. There's also a pier around the downtown area where you can jump off in the summer but personally I jump off it in October you're probably thinking I'm a crazy man I am I love cold water but you can also jump off in the summer in the winter you can also go snowshoeing if you have snowshoes in the winter. You can go skiing at Blue Mountain or snowboarding.

It is so fun in Ontario I hope you enjoy living here. I hope I maybe get to meet you one day. I would really like to know if you like it here in Ontario. I lived here all my life and I like it here I really want you to feel the same there are so much things you can do in Ontario and one of them is to make a difference in the world or in Ontario thank you I hope you can plant to tree and make a difference in the world because you live in Ontario and Ontario grows with curiosity and we're happy to have you here in Ontario you are in control of you even in Ontario you're always and everybody's Hearts no matter what. So welcome to Ontario it's a wonderful place to live. Once again welcome to Ontario thank you for coming to Ontario.
