Holy Moly - It's Almost JUNE!

Isn’t it hard to believe that it’s already June! This year has flown by and I have been so impressed with the growth, learning, and maturity that you have all demonstrated as we’ve moved through this year. June is an awesome time to take stock of your learning and your year at school. For your blog post this week, I’d like you to look back at the year we’ve had. Perhaps you go onto Twitter to see the photos of things we’ve done, perhaps you have some ideas already but I want you to create a top 5 list of things that you’ve learned, projects you’ve done, or best times that you’ve had in class. 1.the virtual reality game
2.when we were taking pictures in the forest

Top 5 Grade 4 memories
1. coding- at first I did not like coding because I did not understand. Then I got taught on a video and it started to get really fun to make awesome games. That's why I think coding is first.

2. pointalism art- I think it was really cool because I could do my favourite soccer team Manchester United. I did their logo and a background. It was so much fun but it took soooooo long.

3. trebuchet making- first it was super tricky but then I got the hang of it. It turned out it was an amazing activity. I really wish we could make another one.

4. tree ornament- I liked it because you didn't have to draw. You cut out stuff you wanted and glued it on. It seemed pretty easy but you had to figure out what you wanted.

5. the puzzle piece art- I felt it was cool in the book we read about it and then we made the art from the book. Whatever you like you could just draw it on and put it with our class puzzles.

That's what I think are the top 5 choices of this year!

Top 5 memories in grade 4,

1. Comunity walks because you get to take a break from what you are doing and get lots of fresh air

2, The PAX diorama because it was really fun and I got to use my creativity

3. All the art because the art is always fun and my favorite one was the stick figure art

4. Making my own website because that is a way I can share my learning to the world

5. The photography because we got to take pictures of nature and even edit them

Those are my top five memories in grade 4

My top 5 memories in grade 4,

1. The cup challenge we did at the beginning of the year- Because it was hard but I really enjoyed working together as a group to figure it out

2.Sphero/Vex robot - Because it was cool to code a robot to do stuff and to build the Vex robot.

3. VR- Because we actually got to go to the places we were learning about and it felt so real

4 .Making the dash mazes- it was really fun to make the maze with tape and then try to code it to go right in the track it was hard but fun

5. focus on nature - Because it was a chance to take some really cool photos and get outside for some fresh air

Sorry I could not just choose 5 I had to chose 7 because there are so many fun things we did this year it is hard to choose just 5 and the reason we did so many fun things is because Mr.Steltmen is the best teacher ever.

6. Our Pax projects - Because it was so much fun to build the dioramas

7. Our Alice stories- Because we got to make our own stories and learn even more things about goggle slides

One of my grade 4 memories is when we walked to the Hydro path and then we found a part of a car. I wondered what happened to the car?

My next memory is when we did Nature Infested. I remember we were looking for birds and we kept finding lots of robins and we played a fun game. I had the same partner both rounds and I thought that was funny.

My next memory was actually yesterday March 31, 2022. It was very hot at 34°. We had indoor recess for the second break because of how hot it was. It was a nice memory as we watched Ferdinand.

In conclusion, I have a lot of great memories from grade 4.

theese are the 5 things i like about grade 4

1. i like the coding cause i learned a lot of stuff about coding and i made fun games

2. this year we got to take our masks off

3. i like the gym classes because the are fun to play

4. also i like grade 4 because i never got popcorn until this year

5. i liked grade 4 because all the fun math games we play

My favourite memories are when we made PAX dioramas, when we did the you.dj website for the moose hide activity in class, when we did our focus on nature, all our virtual adventures and our morning math because those are all the things I will never forget about grade 4.

1. VR exploring - I liked about VR is how it explained me about ancient times and I learned history.

2. Pointilism art - I learned a new way to do art. Pointilism art doesnot look like real coloring. I got inspired by this art and decided to one at home.

3. Area quiz coding - I liked how i got to know how to make questions on scratch. I liked how my classmates tried out my quiz game.

4. Morning math - I like morning math because i get to learn new techniques and strategies to solve my math questions.

5. Making catapults and trebuchets - I enjoyed making catapults and trebuchets because i learned how to launch a catapult.

6. Making our own Dj's - I liked how i could operate my dj machine and i could create my own song and when i turn on the song, i could put it on party mode.

5 things I like about this year...
1. Learning how to blend colours - I liked the blending on my nyan cat
2. Haveing a quiet table group - It was quiet at break
3. Cleaning the hydro path - Getting to help the earth
4. Learning how to code so much things - I like to code
5. Having a wonderfull class,teacher and year!

1. Focus on nature because it is a lot of fun using the cameras to take pictures.
2. Bird watching because it is a lot of fun searching birds outside in the nature.
3. The line art because it is making poses and use 3 color this to outline it.
4. Taking a walk because I love outside and having some fresh air.
5. Having a nice teacher and class.
6.VR because I like VR and a lot of exploring in the history.
7. The cup challenge to start the first day of school.

Grade 4 Top 5
1- Take pictures in the forsest. I liked taking pictures in the forest because we put our pictures in frames and the turned out really cool.
2- Clean up the garbage along the hydro path. I liked this because we had a nature walk and helped keep our planet clean.
3- Gym. I like gym because we got to play lots of fun things.
4-Bike week. I liked bike week because this was the first time I rode my bike to and from school by myself
5-Learning how to code. I learned how to make cool games and had lots of fun.

My top 5 favorite things in grade 4.

1: I liked going for walks around the Community- It was so much fun

2: Our Alice stories -I enjoyed that alot

3: I liked going into the forest and taking photos-We got to edit them and they all looked awsome at the end

4: i also liked cleaning the hydro path i found some weird stuff-But we helped the earth by cleaning the hydro path

5: making our websites so pepole can see our learning - that was so much fun i enjoyed it

Sorry two more things befor i end this- the things i absolutely loved this year is. . .

Having Mr.Steltman as my teacher this year -that was my all time favorite this year.

Having the greatest class -with all greatest pepole in it thats why it makes it the one of my favorite things this year.
