Hang Ten! And Describe it!

This week we’ve been focussing on writing powerful introductions and looking at ways to ‘hook’ our readers into wanting to read more. We want to write using descriptive language, using our senses to connect our readers to the actions in our writing. We have looked at getting our readers emotionally invested in what we’re writing through the choices we make. This week, your challenge is to practice this.
Watch the above 360 video (you can look around while the video plays) and use your best descriptive language, describe what is happening in the video, create the experience you’ve viewed with your eyes with the words you write. Hook your readers in, so that they feel what you felt watching but only by reading it!

What's happening in the video is the two guys are surfing inside big heavy waves and they come out of their waves before it comes on them. At the first part they were swimming in the water and they were having lots of fun with their friends too. Sometimes they were falling in the water from the big waves. The waves look like circles when the guys go in the waves.

Amazingly I watched the guy who was dancing in the water. He and his friends were very good with balance on the board, surfing and using the camera at the same time. He is having fun with his freinds in the watter and surfing too. Sometimes he dives under the water and sometimes he is on the water just like a birds. That must be the freedom of life.

the video was about two guys that were surfing heavy waves and swimming under water. You could see the little fish in the coral reefs.We found it very intresting and fun that you could move around.

At first and I saw the clear waves pass bye me as I was looking up. Then I turned my camera down and I saw the ground along with some fishes. Then it changed to a man that was surfing with his hand gliding with the water. Then he put up the hang ten sign.

When I first saw him we were in the water. When I looked up, there were clouds of puffy salt and foam. As I looked down, I saw the sea floor. There was coral protruding through the ground, as I saw a few little creatures that looked like a tropical black butterfly fish.
A second later I started to shake. Then, we appeared on the surface of the water, on a surfboard, catching a wave. I looked behind us and saw a big wave that was circling us. He reached his hand out, and touched the side of the wave with his masculine hand. A moment later, he did the ASL sign for Y, or the "I'm Cool" "Hey Bra!" Hand sign. Then, the wave behind us vanished into the warm breeze, and cool waters.

the guy foes swimming underwater and ten he goes to the surface of the water and there are clips of both of them going surfing and then two more guys come when the video cuts to the underwater scene again

In this video, I started off underneath the water. So I swim forward, and I can see the fish moving around with me. When I look around me I see other people in the water, with their surfing gear swimming around. I then see turbulence in the water. It starts off a bit dark, but then as time passes by it gets brighter. Then, I come up to the surface of the water. As I come up to the surface of the water everything starts shaking and I can hear the water moving and crashing on my face! Then I start surfing, and I feel happy. The music playing reflects on how I feel in the moment. The wave incircles me, and I hear the noise from inside the wave. It’s all I can see, until I leave the wave and it crashes down on me! The sound I’m hearing of the wave crashing down on me is reflecting what’s happening. I look all around me, and I see tiny bits of water crashing on me. I can hear waves in the distance, and I can even see a boat in the distance passing by! My friend, nearby me is also surfing, and I can see him. I can see the mountains, and shoreline! I hear everything going on, and continue surfing. It feels so amazing in the moment of being inside the waves!

I thought it was nice that you could move around in the video and that we got to see every angle we wanted. When they surfed I thought it was cool that i could see all of the water drops also all of the fish next to the coral ground I like very much. Over all I thought the video was great.

To me what is happening is at the very start I see a couple of fish swim away and then there was a splash that was really big. After the splash when i looked to the side of me I saw man that was sorkeling. Then the image changed and we went up to when it looked like we we're on a kayak but then when I turned around i saw a man surfing.After that He touched the water and then he went through a wave and then I saw another man go threw a wave and then I turned and saw a HUGE mountain.I also saw a boat.Then we went into the water again and I kept turning but i kept seeing people snorkeling and then we went back up and i saw another man surfing AGAIN. I turned and then I saw a lot of ships. Overall I really like the way that we could move around so then nobody has the same answer

Tahiti, looks like a nice place to go. People snorkeling at the top of the clear blue sea where you can see the all different colors of coral and fish swimming around at the bottom of the sea.Tahiti is also a great place for people to surf because of their high waves. One day I would like to visit.

In this video it started off in the water where I looked around in the water and saw what looked like coral .Then I turned around and saw other people in the water . I also saw some fish that were in the water . when it switched to the other guy I saw fluffy clouds in the air and there was a giant wave and when he came down the wave it felt like I was rolling down a hill. After that it was back in the water. I played around with it and saw some other people recording themselves and they were having lots of fun . this seems like a really fun thing and Iwant to do it in my life someday

I started underwater where there were small fish swimming around and I saw some other people swimming. there was also a lot of coral like things on the ground. when I came out of the water I was surfing and saw a bunch of waves. soon i got splashed and that was really cool to watch. I was back in the water soon and then I came back up to surf more. I really want to go there because the ocean looks amazing!

First I saw that we were swimming underwater and I could see little tiny fishes swimming in the corals while l also saw a wave passing by me . Then I was shaking and went up and saw the big blue sky with puffy clouds, mountains, and saw a big wave coming towards me. I was getting ready for position as the big wave came at me and I started to surf. I saw that I was under the big wave and it was amazing. It felt like I was in a black hole! Then I fell into the water but came back and I myself surfing the most gigantic wave I have ever seen and It was a bit blurry but when I came out I saw that I was on top of the water feeling proud.

The video takes place in Tahiti where the sky was blue and there were big waves in the ocean. I saw a surfer with blonde hair in a blue shirt and another surfer with brown hair, in a neon green shirt. At first one of the surfers was swimming in the water, and the water was so clear you could see some tiny fishes. After I saw the surfer in the neon shirt riding a wave and he was under the water just before the wave caught up to him. It was awesome. It looked like the surfers were friends and that they enjoyed surfing because they were smiling. They also put up these signs with their hand only the thumb and pinky up and waving it at each other.

Here's what's happening in the video you have two guys In a Ocean diving and giving us a cool look at coral reefs and the ocean floor and .They both go surfing and they give us a cool 360 perspective and what.I can take away from this is ocean is full of cool things.

we are here in Tahiti as we have a 360 view of a group of men that are snorkeling underwater as you can see the fishes swim by the group when the scene goes to two surfers the battle big waves as there holding the go pro as the scene comes to an end the video comes as well.

At first I watched the blue ocean and the rocks at the bottom. Then as "I" plopped out of the water I watched the mountains and the tame water resting. Then all of a sudden a slight wave apperead and just RUINED the tame water- UGH. Then there was WATER literally SPLASHED ALL over the camera so I couldn't see a thing. I turned around and then I saw my TWENTY year old "friend" then I saw "myself". I truned back around because I wanted to see the ocean not people. I was watching the sun then all of a sudden ANOTHER wave decided to get RIGHT in my way of seeing. So rude. So I turned back around and the SAME wave decided to get back in my way of seeing. I was watching the mountains and the tame water again. THEN "I" went UNDERWATER when I was trying to enjoying a nice SCENERY! I turned around and all I saw was my "friends" Like GET OUT of my WAY. It took me back to the wave and all I could see was my ugly t-shirt so I quickly turned around. I was watching the moutains (Again) and then ANOTHER WAVE decided to get in MY WAY (again) Mist was all I could see. There was so much mist it looked like it was snowing, and I do not like snow. It finally cleared up and I was looking straight at the sky. BAM a black - screen comes up- WHAT in the WORLD is going on with this video ruining all the lovely moments!? I decided to look down and all I saw was "my foot" I gagged and turned away. And then it just ended.

I really thought this video was cool. Once I realized you could move around the cursor the video got more interesting. It allowed me to see every angle which you don't get to do in most youtube videos. There were a lot of beautiful scenes throughout the video. Overall I think this is a fun way to watch a video.
