Isn't it crazy how life seems to just fly by. I find myself getting so caught up in the day to day life living that it can be hard to see the big picture, to see that which really matters. I found it really motivating to read how thankful you all were, and that you are seeing that big picture in your day to day life. This week, I want you to spend some more time thinking about that BIG picture idea and what it means in your life to be successful. We've written our goals, and we've thought about what we want to focus on. Now, to get better, let's think about how to fail. In the comments below, write down a paragraph (proper paragraph format!!!) that speaks to how you've learned through a failure in your life. This should be written in the past tense (as it's talking about something that has already happened). Think about a proper retell (descriptive writing, hooking the reader, etc.) when you're writing about this event.

3 weeks ago I was looking at my lineup and thought it was good not really thinking because of who I was facing in the fantasy football league, he doesn't have the best the best team and he was in second last place, just 1 spot above his dad; the Boiled bunnies. It was Sunday night winning, than when Friday came I checked my status and I had lost the week.

This is probably something that you have experienced quite a few times before, it's when you are trying to write with a bad pencil, so you are writing and it breaks so sharpen it and sharpen it until you realize that it will not work and you have to get another pencil.

one of my failures that I worked trough is when I go to Toronto I some times go to a place called "Joy Ride 150" this is one of my favourite places to go! I recently went there with Sean and we where trying so hard to do a 360 and we where doing it for about 1 hour that seams long but it was fun so it felt like 15 minutes! Any way, we tried and tried when we where jumping in to the rome pit with our bikes and finally some random guy gave us tips. we thought about it and we work on it and finally we did it!

it means failing makes you learn and wining makes you feel good but trying hard and failing a couple times and then succeeding makes you feel a hole lot better .

A long time ago. When I took the daily walks with my family (I still do), I would always ignore the scenery around me; thinking that I saw it a million times. But then my mother told me to look at the beautiful trees, I glanced at it but it soon caught my attention. the leaves around are shining along with the sun while the dark brown tree bark blends in beautifully. I was astonished that such beauty i never noticed, to this day I look a bit more closely at what's around me when I'm walking.

When I was 6 and I was trying to ride my 2 wheeler(I only had training wheels for about 3 weeks) I fell, A LOT(sometimes there was crying involved), but I wouldn't get discouraged and I would get up and brush myself off and try again and I would learn from my mistakes and keep trying and by the time I was 7 I was riding like it was second nature to me.

I learned from this many times. Like in math when I get a question wrong I don't just give up, I keep trying until I get it right. Sometimes when I'm playing games I can't win so I play again retrace my steps but where I made a mistake I go somewhere else and keep trying.

When I was in grade 3 I wanted to make it in to rep hockey. Because I never tried out before I probably wasn't going to make it but I tried anyway. After I didn't make it I felt really bad but I actually knew that was something I wanted to achieve so I started doing power skating. I didn't like Power Skating at first, but I knew it was gonna help. I was playing red after another year of failing and not making rep but I knew if I kept up the motivation and still did the training I wasn't gonna fail, and this was gonna be my last year of house league. Then after the year of red I told some coaches to come watch me play and they accepted me to play on the Clarkson hurricanes A which is rep.

In grade 3 I was in a competitive swimming team and I wanted to make OAK C, but the coaches said when I have more endurance you will make it. What the coaches said just clicked to me and it just motivated me even more to make. I finally made it 2 months later, but then I quit (so sad).

Swimming is fun, unless you are afraid of water! When I was little, I was afraid of jumping in the water. I would cry, unless someone was there to catch me. As a fun treat, after I jumped in, my Dad would let me hug him and make him all wet. I am no longer afraid of jumping in the water, in fact I belong to a water polo club. I get to jump in the water almost every day!

Since I play piano things can get pretty challenging with it and you have to fail at least once if you want to succeed ( even if that mean messing up in a performance) and if you ask me I will know alot about that. Once at my church talent show my sister and I did a duet

One of my failures is that like two years ago I wasn't good at skating and when I went on the ice the very first time I slipped and fell and it hurt. I kept trying, and kept falling I would get up then I would fall again. I wanted to stop because I wasn't very good at it, I continued to practise over the winter and became better and better and now I'm pretty good at it.

It's basically saying you learn more from your mistakes so that you won't fail again therefor learning from your mistakes.

One of my failures was when I started to learn how to ride my bike. At that time I tried and tried until I finally suceeded. How I overcame that failure was never giving up.

I have had experienced this many times, and as much as you think failing is bad and we all know it sucks sometimes but it will actually help you succeed in life, and I know you're probably thinking... what? How is failing going to help you succeed? Faith you make no sense. Well... if you never succeed you will never know what it's like to fail, and I know failing sucks but it will help get better in what you failed in.

Last year, I didn't do my homework because I thought it was worthless, so I had lied to my parents. When my parents found out that I wasn't doing my homework, they were outraged. So they said NO READING OR SCREEN TIME FOR A WHOLE MONTH!!!!! Afterwards they talked to me about my decisions and they said that it is not the homework they were mad about, it was that I had lied to them. So I had learned that telling lies is not the right thing to do and you shouldn't lie.

Last year in my hockey season we were almost undefeated and thought that nothing could stop us. We had made it to the finals and thought that this would've been a piece of cake because of how we had defeated them last time we played. We were proud and motivated to play but we under estimated them and didn't try as hard as we could in the first period. We got scored on and we all were so shocked in how we were undefeated yet scored on. from that moment we knew that we underestimated them and gave it our all, but they were stronger than ever. They had practiced a lot more and trained. When we heard the last buzzer we all were mad at ourselves because of how we didn't try. We knew now to never give it up and give it our all. This year, my team won't give up.

Failing is just doing something and doesn't work as everyone says you learn from your mistake.
