EARTH DAY - Dear Future Generations ... Sorry

In honour of Earth Week this week, and to keep with our theme of poetry, please watch the video above. I’ve used this video in the past as a way to showcase the incredible power of poetry and of people. Every single time I watch this video, I am struck by the power of his words. As you watch one man’s ‘apology’ to future generations, for the damage being done today, think about how you can help? Although some of the points he makes refer to American politicians, I think the message he has to share is universal. As you watch, think about his message. Do you agree? 1. We neglected our precious environment for such a long time that we must make a change now. We can reduce the amount of water that we use, don’t throw out items that we can reuse and prevent trees getting cut unnecessarily. Water and trees are very important to us. We use water for baths, drinking and playing. And trees are our supply of air. They let us breath oxygen.

2. To help future generations, this week I will do three things. The first helpful thing that I will do is be mindful of what I throw away. For example when I will finish drinking the water from a plastic bottle, I won’t just throw the bottle away. I will reuse it until it is not reusable. The second helpful thing I will do is turning off the light when I leave a room. Also I will turn off the light that other people in my household left on when they exited a room. The last thing that I will do is not let my sister crumple up paper and throw it away when she makes one tiny mistake in drawing something.

When we throw a single rapper on the ground it makes a change,
A change that will change more then we could imagine,
A change that will change the countries, the valleys, the rivers, the lakes, even the oceans. that's 70% of our earth! so that means we must do something! something that will change the change we have made. And no it is not impossible because if everyone makes a difference we can change all of the change that we have changed from a perfect land to a dump. So lets change our change to a change that will change all of our earth and live on a happy planet.

We must make a change now! It’s not too late, we have ignored our environment for so long that we have to change. The first thing we can do is stop people from logging and cutting down lots of trees. Even the small things we can do like not stepping on plants, throwing stuff on the ground and ripping off tree bark makes a big impact. The environment helps us with our needs and if we have none left we won’t be able to LIVE!

To help the future generations I will do three things. I will stop using straws because that hurts the environment and the animals in the oceans. I will reuse items if they are reuseable. When I am ever brushing my teeth or taking a bath/shower I will not keep the water running for longer than it should.

Lets start off by literally saying we aren't engaged about earth. All us humans that live on this planet don't see how good this earth gives us.
I bet aliens take better care of their environment. But this isn't a blog about comparing this is about making a change on earth, our precious earth. To make a change we need to work hard, well we don't need to really work hard, we just need to switch everything the right way, which is not littering, planting plants & trees .etc. And we can do that in less than heart beat. Its not to late to make a change until it is to late, 20 people living in earth no food, soon to dye. But that, that night mere isn't going to happen, the thing we need to do is get everyone on board to help save our precious earth until it is actually is too late when theres nothing but a dessert and a small tree.
To make a change lets start off with our most and keep going with our most so then this world won't go us people and earth can live a healthy life. I definitely will try to save this earth on what I saw with on video above. Since it's spring and the bees should be coming soon, I will try to ignore them it other than killing it with my all, even though I would never do that because bee's are very frightening to me. I would also like to be generous to the plants I see and if I see flowers walk past them not on them, also planting plants too because if they help us why don't we help them. And one last thing is whats on the top of my list not leaving this planet a mess because in 70 billion years when we go extinct I want to be proud and say " We took care of our one precious earth" .

1. I think we really need to change now, it's not late yet, but in 10 years it will be late so I don't think its to late yet, so do everything you can everyone!

2. I will definitely do everything I can do, I will recycle and reuse because if we all do that then It will be the best thing ever. I will probably do a lemonade stand to raise money for trees.

3. I sometimes leave my lights on so I'll turn those off when I come upstairs and when I come downstairs.

hey i'm going to be mentioning how i'm going to make a change
also i am going to be answering the 3 questions

1. I think that even though pollution and and other bad things are taking over quickly we still have time to make a difference though we can still make it stop

2. to make the world a better place i think I would cancel all future huge condo plans and i would replace it with a forest of trees and we could still build buildings but we would just have more environmental equipment

3. to help make the world a better place we just have to start out small and work our way up to start small this week I am going to

1. never forget to turn off the lights
2. eating at home the whole week and not going for fast food
3. walking, scooter,and biking

that is how I shall help save the environment

I think it is not too late to change how we think of the world and the environment. We can still make a change by recycling our trash, and not cuttign down trees. I think people are starting to change because just the other day I saw a huge pile of wood chips and tree stumps, but I also saw a huge patch of newly planted trees. People have started to give back trees as they take them down.

We can build a positive future by nt cuttign down as many trees unnecessarily. We can plant more trees, and not use as much cars and bike or walk or scooter instead.

I will bike to school so I do not pollute the air using a car. I will also recycle things instead of just throwing them in the garbage. I will also not use as much plastic because it takes a long time for plastic to decompose.

We are ruining our world slowly but its not two late to help and make a big difference in this world. Every single rapper or litter someone throws away takes 450 YEARS TO DECOMPOSE! And it hurting our earth more and more.

Some things that i recommend everyone to do to help save our wild life, Our plants and the world is to first STOP LITTERING. Everyone Is littering and i know you think one rapper isn't that much but as people think that they all through stuff on the ground so please keep it in your pocket or through it in a garbage can because that's what they are used for.

Some other things i think we should do to help our world is to stop building giant houses or buildings on animals homes please remember that animals are a living thing like you.

Something else to help our world is to stop the factories from polluting the air and water every day like some day the sky is going to turn gray for ever.

Some things that i will try to do to help our world is NOT to litter and keep my garbage in my pockets if i'm away from my house and wait until i see a garbage or when i get home i will through it out. I will also try to walk on the side walk more and not on plants or grass because its living and when i step on it i'm probably killing all of the grass and plants there.

I think it is not too late to change the environment! If we keep on cutting trees down we will take away the animals habitat and they will not have enough food. We wont have good oxygen to breath when all the trees get cut down. We also need to take better care of trees by not ripping off the bark and cutting down trees when not necessary.

Oceans and lakes are being polluted by oil spills from large ships so that's also taking away the animals habitats. We can change that by 1. being more careful with their ships and what they are doing to the water and setting laws that insure that ships are built correctly.

3 things I will do for the future generation is........
1. walk to school more so I don't pollute the air with gas fumes
2. by not throwing garbage on the ground
3. by conserving electricity and water

because its very important
living things live in it
because of that you get to swing so

1. I think we can still make change by not using plastic and not cutting down trees so we can save habitats, animals and even ourselves!
2. I will make a positive future by trying to get rid of some of the plastic in the ocean so we can have access to clean water.
3. The 3 things I will do to create a better world is turning off the tap when I brush my teeth, having shorter showers and turning off the lights when I leave the room.

For all the things in the the world that could of happened this is what it had to be! Why do we have to do this to the world. Without the world we wouldn't be here today, you pets at home wouldn't be here today! Nothing would be here! So what I what I want to all of us to do is just stand up for your world. Hold on, that's the problem! We all think that this is your world my world. Really, it's OUR world.
So if you think that this is your world how dare you say that! You think that it is ok to through a single rapper on the ground and everything will be ok! Seriously people! We are all at school learning because we have oxygen and we get the oxygen from OUR trees! And our homes! All that wood comes from the trees. So if the world gives to us, then why don't we give to them! What's with us! Why can't we just give our hearts to the world and show life that we care!
So...

Just goes down into the dirt
We don't even care
We don't even dare to hurt!
So for all the things in the world
And all the places in the world,
All these things want to make me hurl!

Then I suggest to do as I say!

So all you parents out there that are doing this!

Do it for your kids!
Because one day there will be no kids
There will be no parents
There will be no animals!

So just do it for your family!
The ones you love! And if you say that Earth is part of our family; you are AWESOME!
But it is not too late to make a positive impact of this!
We can do this by making a garbage free lunch about twice a week and using actual water bottles instead of plastic ones. By doing this, all this plastic is going into our ocean!
And when we litter, that garbage that is on the ground takes years and years and years to decompose!

By me reading this, it would make me really happy if you would do at least one thing, to help our family! Our World! Not Your World! OUR WORLD!

I think that it is never to late to make a change. We would probibly need to make a big change fast because we might only have up 200-300 years before the end.

Shut down all the major tree cutting company's in the world.
Or plant more trees tree by tree remake all the trees we cut down.

This week I will ride my bike to school (IF THE WEATHERS GOOD ENOUGH). I will have more showers and less baths. Finally I have agreed that from the 24ish to as long as I can go for to not go on any screens for fun.

1.they environment is depending on us and we are depending on they environment so lets make a change. To do that we must, work hared and convince other friends and family. we must, stop doing the wrong thing to do the right thing. lets do it now!

2.I would walk to school every day to stop pollution I would also take sorter bathes and showers to stop taking away more water than I need and last I would have a boomerang lunch every day to stop later and pulsation of are waste land.

1.I think that we can still change the environment , because we are all young children and we still have time to change the environment we can save the environment it's not to late let's save the world.
2.Some things that I would do is I would go out to a park and pick up all that garbage before the wind blows it into the water. I would also try and buy less things that are packed in bags so that I can throw out less garbage.
3. In heath we learned what go's into the green bin,blue bin and also the garbage. I tried to use the car less and less and I walked instead.
I could not think of another thing.

I think it is to late to make a change because look around its so bad that if you put out a paper it will be on the ground in secondes. I would make it so that there would be all electric cars so 50% of pollution is gone and by that time the gas will be gone so not as much oil leeks so another 25%. so that's 75% total. I will pick up garbage outside, not drive around that much and go to school walking or scootering.

In this blogpost, I'm not going to sit here and make up excuses of why I haven't been doing anything.
Instead I'm choosing to try to contribute everything I have.
I don't think any of us realize the true potential of the earth. The trees, the ocean, the beaches. All of the beautiful countries and lands, that we are just sitting, and watching get destroyed. All the beautiful animals roaming the Earth and calling it home, when really it's more of a warzone. The air, polluted with gasses. The ocean when the fact is...
WE HAVE DONE NOTHING.
When the whole time, we could have been doing anything. Anything could help, anything at all. Let's give less attention to Trump and his giant wall. Let's start facing reality... I mean look at me. A little kid, trying to save the Earth. Is this what we have really come to... Kids trying to save us. Don't even fuss. This is our world and we have to save. Get yourself together and let's do something amazing. Plant a tree, help a bee. They're going extinct so why don't we. Reuse bottles and let's start facing this battle. Give an animal a home, maybe even somewhere to roam. They sure do need it, so we can't quit!
We need to help the planet, so why don't WE start it.

I believe that we can still make a change, but this may be our last chance. If we do not try to make a change right now, the end of earth may just be right around the corner.

The thing is that people mostly care about other things. If you're fighting for equality, human rights, or whatever, you need learn that if we all don't work together to help save the planet, we're all doomed. I really think that countries should stop worrying about their economy, and actually make changes for the environment. If countries were to strictly enforce laws that were made to protect the environment, we could be making way more of a change. I think people should be educated about how to protect the environment and I think people should help provide funds to companies and organizations that help protect the environment.

The three(four)things I will do this week to help save the planet are to turn off the lights in my house when I don't need them on. I'll make sure to turn off the tap and recycle as many thing as I can. I'll also take shorter showers and reuse items I have.

2 i think we shod not cut down as many trees and dont take more trees then you need and if you do take more then you need then dont do again 3 i will find some trash and throw it out. i will not put things in the rong bin when i am trowing things out. and i will not waste food.

If I throw a wrapper on the ground right now it would have a lasting effect on the planet and nature. It would take years to decompose and through those years, animals and others could die or be affected from that. It is not to late to stop this from happening. By doing this, I also mean planting more trees and protecting our Eco system.

I think something that would help the future is to plant more trees and prevent them from being cut down. Another thing is to get people to stop littering because not only does it affect the Eco system but it also effects the animals - (and us!) too.

3 things I will do this week is to not walk on plants - mostly grass because it is killing the grass. Another thing I will do is to stop littering and just throw stuff directly into the garbage. The last thing I will do is to always turn off the lights when I am leaving the house because I sometimes forget to do that.

The world is getting more polluted and we need to stop because there will be less fresh air and less fresh water and land to live on to stop this.
1. We can make a change even in mass pollution areas like China where it's very polluted by doing things like planting trees and using less straws
2. I think in the future (and now) we should use less plastic and eat less plastic food so our waters don't get so polluted.
3. This week I will...
1. Eat less packaged food
2. Not use any straws
3. Have quick showers
That's what I will do to help the enviorment.
