EARTH Day 2017 - We Can Make A Difference

In honor of Earth Day that is on Saturday, watch the following video. While you’re watching the video think about the main message of the video, what are they trying to teach us? For your homework this week, start thinking about how you can do something to make our world a better place. Get out there and DO SOMETHING! My goal this week is to go out behind my house and pull up as much garlic mustard as I see around my property. I don’t want it to spread any further. As a further step, I will be planting native species of plants and flowers in my gardens that bees will like. Your homework this week is to choose ONE thing. Go out and do one thing that makes the world a better place and write about it in a descriptive paragraph that also talks about the impact your action will have on the world! Go out and make the world a better place!

I am going to plant stuff like tomato's and flowers to help the bees pollinate. since they might go extinct I'm trying to bring them back. I also think that doing what i'm doing will give the bees what they need to make honey. Who doesn't like honey. This is what i'm doing to help the environment. Since not a lot of people like bees it's going to bee hard.(get it "Bee" hard"...ha ha ha ha?) That"s what I'm doing.

Like Andrew is doing I will plant flowers for more bees can come around so they dot get extinct (I know they might get instinct because we did that project about bees getting instinct) This can help the envirmeant and the world by getting us honey and keeping mother nature alive. Bees stay alive more honey we get :)

Earth Day is a very important time of year, and something many people overlook. As I'm currently at my cottage type thing in Collingwood - which is a town home- there isn't much I can do in the way of planting things in my backyard, as there are strict rules about what you can and can't do. I'm pleased to say that my area is free of most garbage. There is a vast amount of trails, water and marsh-y areas, and all of them are home to abundant amounts of wildlife. I intend to spend the day just enjoying the well taken care of nature and wildlife, and hiking through the trails and along the waterfront.

For earth day my family and I are going to be pickup all the litter at the local park. We decided to this because we think having trash in ecosystems is the thing that is casing most of the spices to die. We found out that over 1.1 million animals die because of litter. The impact from us doing this is we will help decreases the number of animals that die from eating or getting trapped in litter. That is what my family and I are doing for earth day.

At the earth day, I will buy 1000 name card for the dog, At the earth day, if I see one dog, I will ask it's master what is her/his phone number, then I will write that phone number at the name card, after I dune those, I will give this name card to his/he dog.Therefor if that dog is get lose, the other people can use the phone to find that dog's master and give back his/her dog.This will let the stray dog's number be smaller, that mean it can let the die dog' number be smaller, that mean the possibility of plague is reduced because the die dog's number is smaller...So buy 1000 can make the word better place.

What I have done on Earth day...
That morning...
I rode my bike to Karate and back, and I barely used the lights at home. I sorted the recycling and compost at home, ant let me just say, YYYYYYUCK!

I plan to.... plant some veggies in my backyard, get fresh bottom and top soil, and bike often... I think so. I will pick up the garbage that gets on my lawn.

Even though Earth day has passed, I can still make a difference in Oakville, my goal is to separate all the garbage and recyclables in their separate bins. Even though this may seem like a small act, if everybody joins in the total waste in the Earth would decrease by a lot.

I know that Earth Day had passed but I know I can still make a difference. The way I plan on how I could help earth is by going to change the way I get stuff so I'am going to start walking to buy groceries instead of driving no matter how bad or good the weather is. I can also make a difference by cleaning the ravine that is like a minute walk from my house. I want to clean up my ravine because that I have noticed people that are talking about how there is lots of garbage in the stream but at the same time when no one was looking they started to also cause the problem . Animals that I have seen in the stream are starting to suffer in there and I want to help this is how I am going to help Earth.

Once I get the seeds I will plant them near my house and hopefully the bees can pollinate on the flowers because we won’t spray pesticides on them. My impact on the world will be that bees can pollinate my flowers and other people’s that live around me if they choose to plant wildflower seeds for the bees and to bring the bee back to the box of honey nut cheerios.
We can all make a difference no matter how small. So get out there and make a difference

In honour of earth day and to do all my homework I am planing on planting flowers that bees will like. A wile back my girl guide uint went to irland house. There was a game and a presantation about the ecosystems of forests and a few others. We learned about how ecosystems can die if one element dies. We also made these flower grenades wich isn't dangerous but a cool idea. There are seeds inside of this natural clay that is raped in burlap and tied up is string. All of this can decompose and makes gardening so much fun. It is easy to do and can help the bees a great deal (and also apeals to our class with the gernade part of it and mybe the wiping it at your garden part too). This is one of the many things to do and with all this stuff to do we better get started!

I know that earth day has passed, but there are still many things that I can do to make the world a better place. What I will do is pick up any garbage that I see in my area. I will also say sorry to the earth, now you are probably wondering "Why would you say sorry to the earth?" Well many reasons. Reason number 1, Us human have taken advantage of life it's self so we thought it would be a good idea to pollute the world making it a worse place to live on. Reason number 2, The world thinks that we have the control no one else, WELL THEY ARE WRONG everyone and everything deserves the same respect. Those are the things that I will do on earth day

At Earth Day, I helped my parents to clean the garden, planting the grass and the flowers. We also picked up some garbages including bottles, coffee cups, newspapers, etc. I am very proud because I did something to protect our Earth. And remember, you don't have to wait for Earth Day to show your love for the planet.

There is many ways to make Earth such a good planet which I am talking about the wastes (or not). I will try not to waste electricity, even through I didn't manage to do it. Sorry, but I might be a hypocrite. High five Nathan. Butt, in all seriousness I will also try to find any little piece of garbage and kick their butts. When I mean kicking their butts, I will recycle them properly. This will at least improve nature, and I will be using Nathan words.

Nature is very important, and it is what we should think about. In the future, my goal is to waste the least amount of electricity, (even though I might fail). My second goal is to pick all the garbage on my lawn. Garbage is really polluting nature. I will use them for art or any projects that could be certainly useful. On the week of earth day I used no lights or electronics did not drive anywhere (I biked or roller bladed) I even read outside at 8:00 under a streetlight, (I think I am going mad) I helped my mom rebuild her garden, me and my dad ran around the block and I biked for 2 hours straight. I climbed my tree and threw seeds for flowers from it and read in it for 4 hours.

To help the enviorment I will try not to use a lot of electricity for example I will close unneeded lights, and charge electronics not very often.
