Welcome back to weekly homework, I know it’s been quite a ride over these last few weeks with Mr. Steltman being in and out, and many absences. We’re back in action and ready to rock our homework again!
For this week, we’re going to focus on writing descriptions and thinking specifically about describing food! This website has a list of over 100 words to describe how food can look, taste, smell, feel in your mouth, and even sound! For your blog post this week, you have a two part challenge.
Part 1: Choose a food that you wish to describe and then pick 5 words from this list that would go well with it.
Part 2: Write a menu entry as if you owned a restaurant and were going to try to get people to choose this item.
For example:
Part 1- Grilled Cheese: Gooey, crispy, sticky, mouth-watering, zesty
Menu: 4 Cheese Grilled Cheese: Two thick slices of rye bread, crisped up to perfection with a blend of 4 mouth-watering cheeses, melted until gooey and sticky. Served with zesty ketchup and golden french fries.

Hi Mr. Steltman!!

It wouldn’t be me if I didn’t make an annual appearance on your blog. For those who don’t know me, I was in Mr. Steltman’s class 4 years ago when I was in the fifth grade.

Ciaran and I were thinking of emailing you to visit you (given you’re our one and only favourite teacher), only coming to find out you’re teaching at a new school.

I still remember all these blog post ideas, as you have yet to come up with new ones - which in all sincerity, is general Mr, Steltman tactics. But let me tell you, he is a very genuine and kind-hearted mentor and person. I hope all is well and the class is causing you a little trouble :)) Not too much though! (I still love how google marks your last name as wrong, that’s how I know i’m spelling it correctly, lol)

menu: the pizza is on a huge sale of 50% off and it came right out of the oven. There is a new flavor in the market NOW! It is called the pip pizza it is short for pizza.in.pizza. it has cheese and pepperoni and everything a pizza would have in the crust of another pizza.
