The Self Driving Bike from Google - This seems like it will be the next BIG THING from Google. Can you believe what it is saying? What things does this video do to convince you that this is the next great technology? Are there any clues that showcase that this is real or not real? I think this video is real, because the technology is a available. Take the self balancing hoverboard , it has tech that balances it. There is also a self driving car, which they can use for the bike. The video could be fake because there isn't that much wires. The bike is possible, but the video may be fake.

There is also a self driving car, which they can also use the programing for the bike to make it drive automatically. It can also have sensors to know if there is a vehicle. While this is cool, it can probably be dangerous, so if you're getting one, be sure to wear your gear! The video could be fake because there isn't that much wires out side the bike. The bike is possible, but the video may not be fake. To conclude this I think it is possible to have a bike this advanced in our world. This is my opinion.

P.S I am so jealous.

I think Google should make a new technology that can allow people to know and give notifications when your in danger, like if the light says red, but there is a vehicle like an ambulance speeding on the road. This will revulutionise the world and people who are blind can also rely on their Google Saftey Watch. More dogs for everyone. Yah! :)

My initial reaction to this video was; Sure, this could be real! The bike looked like it could hold the wiring and technology needed, and when they demo-ed it, it was a utilitarian, steel gray color, nothing flashy or overly designed. If it had lot's of patterns on it, it could be a random bike someone picked up and used special effects on. But, seeing the bike really plain, showed that the bike was new and the producers haven't gotten into the designer stage yet.
When the man pushed the bike over and it popped back up, it looked like magnetics were involved there. Similar to how, in the last video, the dude, (Travis) had a magnet type thing that connected to the natural magnets in the earth to help him steer, I think that parts of the bikes 'organs' were magentised. (No, I didn't spell that wrong, yes I spelled it the British way.)
I searched up a picture of the Google office in the Netherlands, and it matched up with the little bits we saw in the background of the guys talking. I know it wasn't green-screened because everything meshed, and I don't think Google would let people in their office to shoot fake news.
Self driving technology does exist, so why not self driving bikes? It makes perfect sense.
However, at the end, it said available on April 1st, and I know that big tech industries, Google included, love April Fools pranks, telling people that new and exciting products like that are available for purchase, when they really aren't even real. This bike looks real, and looks like it could exist, ut could also be a big joke.

This is automatically fake because why would it be released on April fools day? And if it was real, there would be even more explanations behind the invention and it will be trending on the news. Google also intended lot's of pranks, getting the customers very interested but getting fooled at the same part. But, we have the self-driving technology cars, which is what makes it more realistic. These were my thoughts about this video, and this was a small explanation of why I thought it was fake. I think the video is fake because. When the guy pushed the bike towards the ground It wobbled back up which is not humanly possible, because it defies gravity. In the video it showed self driving mom and her two kids They were just riding a bicycle without a parent. Also in the video it showed you could press a button and the bike would come to you. This video is fake because a bike cannot come across a whole town to you. at the last part of the video it said that it's only available on April 1st which means it was April Fool's Day so there's no self-driving bike from Google.

Have you ever wanted food that you never get usually? Well that's probably a no. Today we're going to talk about the new invention that Google created, with help from our new engineer Flint Lockwood. We are able to create food with only water dirty or clean. First you type in the food that you want for tomorrow morning into our computer say you want bacon and eggs. Then you would fall asleep and then the next day you'll see bacon fly from the sky and eggs. If you have an allergy then you can make it rain gluten free pancakes or dairy free pancakes or gluten and dairy free pancakes, or something else completely different it just has to be ordered by your address. It is amazing it serves lunch and dinner and dessert and if it's your birthday you got a huge ice cream palace right outside your house. Get this invention for only 1 million dollars. But it's worth it so get yours now on April 1st or should I say it's the best thing on the planet that's what I think Google should invent next year.

I think the video, self driving bike, is fake. Nothing in this video convinces me that there is a possibility for it to be real. One reason is the bicycle moves without any motors or human help. How can a bike move without help, just does not make since.

I also found this image on the web that shows one of the scenes where they are acutely using editing and a pole to move the bike(http://i.vimeocdn.com/video/563472153_640.jpg). To prove this Google posted this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gOjRqlgk_Y&feature=youtu.be) that shows you this video is fake. It shows you that they are using poles to make it move and editing to make it look like it is moving by its self. This video was just an April fools prank like last year(cant remember what it was).

The next thing Google should make is a three dimensional food printer. This would be a good thing to have because you may never have to buy food again. It would probably be a lot cheaper. All you had to do is connect your phone to the printer and write in Google what food you want to make. That is what I think Google should make next.

here's what he said: Sorry, April fools joke.
If you didn't get it from the bike that magically stood up when pushed over, the "available only April 1" gives it away.

Then I know for sure that it's fake. There's no way any bike could go back to it's owner though traffic like that. That's why I think (know) it's fake.

sorry, I by accidently clicked submit. The other reason I think it's fake is because it said it's available for Aprill fools. Any way the video was probably made before Aprill 1st so the parents would never put their kids on the bike that's not available in stores yet. So the people are probably just employees. That's why I know it's fake.

I think the video is fake because it said at the end "only available on April 1st" and that probably means it is for April fools. I think google should make a AI robot that moves and it can be your friend when you are lonely.

This video is fake! First of all, one women (Kajsa Ollongren) was apparently the deputy mayor of Amsterdam, so I googled her and I found 4 pictures, 3 of a person that looks the slightest bit like her and the other was of a picture of Nutella. Yep, she is a nobody. The picture of the person was in a news broadcast kind of setting with the same type of clothes so it makes sense to me that Google would choose someone that could recite lines and topics. As Google is trying for a self driving car, they could just be using this to manipulate us into believing them. That feature where it tips but stays up, well, you would fall off the bike while the bike continues to stroll peacefully down the street and Google is smart enough to think of that. Also, on the bike there is one camera on the front (as far as I can see), meaning someone could rear end you and due to your fake bike, you might die. Because of this Google would loose lots of money, ending up with them being overtaken by other companies. Also, on YouTube, the reviews state that it is fake. Also, what if someone hacks it? I understand that people can't really hack self driving cars but you would have to cook all of that code down to the point where all the code works in a smaller microchip. Also, Snopes is on my side. BOOM! That is why it is fake.

Next I think Google should make a capsule that can withstand underwater pressures. Then we could collect micro organisms that could help advance medical technology so much that we could cure more than we ever imagined.

I think this video is fake because it just doesn't seem like something that would work and it kinda sounds impossible. I would want google to make something where its basically a helping hand and you can get it to do whatever you want it to do.

I think this video is fake. I think this because I am aloud to, OK? One of the evident ways I could figure this out was, there are some crappy moms out there. But I don't think that you can get like this mom. (I'm so sorry, I'm so mad right now, I can't even think). (Oh and by the way I tried to cool down after 10 minutes and I'm still mad). That just not what a mom does, she doesn't let her children go wherever they want, whenever they want. My mom wouldn't even let me do that! Oh and not to mention that they are probably 2 or 3. AND UN-SUPERVISED. It was also convincing a little if you were thinking like me which I know you were unless your are some uncaring person who does not have any concerns for other people you are about 10 or 9 years older than, (And I just forced you to think like me btw). Imagine how weird it would be just to be at the park one day and see two little children eating lollipops and holding balloons just riding through on a bike without pedaling. Oh, AND UN-SUPERVISED!!! You would probably turn your head and think...."Man I want a Nintendo switch". No you would turn your head and say, "I wonder if anyone would see me steal the lollipops. Because they are not-to-mention UN-SUPERVISED!!!". Or, "Dang I'm hungry". Or if you were me, "WHERE ARE THEY GOING AND WHERE ARE THERE PARENTS AND ARE THEY LOST AND ARE THEY OK AND-". /Cut for your own safety/.But seriously, think of it, playing at the park, OK, seeing two 2 year old's, you continue playing, and you rethink it knowing you missed a step. You would probably approach them. Or if you were in my perspective, yes again and sorry, you would steal the bike. And yes, you would or wouldn't as well, because you can't live life not picking a choice. You would approach them, and NOT-steal their bike, and ask them, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!!!!". No, you would ask nicer. "Get out of the park before I steal the bike. RUN LITTLE ONES!". Or you would ask, "Hey little , ummm....Peoples? Wheres your parents? And what are you doing?". Oh yes, I forgot, they might not even be able to speak, but they probably do know, and that is way too many questions. They probably can't even count to the number of questions you asked. Sadly, yes but reality is sort of, (It is) Like that. I bet you couldn't count to three when you were two. They would be able to count to two! Obviously! And all of us can count to 11, or twelve! That's how it works. Or maybe I have got life wrong. When they interview her, (AS IN THE MOM, I PROVED MY POINT OF 2 YEAR OLD CAPABILITIES!!!), she sort of giggles when she mentions she doesn't watch them as in the children. I don't know if she meant to do that as a hint for other people in other countries in other classes with teachers like mr. The mom in the interview just seemed suspicious. The way she was just like, yeah. The bike watches my kids more than I do or ever have. And Finally, an invention that can get these little creatures out of my house and out of my sight. Who Knows? Maybe they are in the phillipines all the way from the netherlands? The way she held her coffee cup, kind of made it seem like that wasn’t the first one of the morning. Or was it coffee in there?! Maybe it was her second wine at 10 o’clock in the morning and is too drunk to watch her kids. It kind of looked like she cared more about the coffee than her kids. It seemed as though she thought she was about to talk about her coffee, and was asked about her kids, and experiences with the bike. “Wait, what kids?”. It almost seemed as though she had to little to say about her children. HER CHILDREN. “Ok, take one!”
“This coffee is so great, I love it and-”,
“No,NO,NO! You're kids! How’s the bike?”
“M-M-M-M-My Kids?”
It also seems like she had to convince them in many arguments before the shootings to let her drink the coffee while filming.

That was a *Cough Cough ***Fake*** Cough Cough* real story from a real family. Not to also mention that it would probably costs let's think millions of dollars considering it was probably made by soon-to-be geniuses. And all the light sensors,m motion sensors, the decrease rate of the huge rate of dieng riding that bike, ESPECIALLY UNSUPERVISED!!! Plus the color added, The ability to stand after the attempt of a grown man to push it over and balance, and avoid pedestrians, roadkill, animals, cars, planes, buses, motorcycles, (Buses are better than motorcycles), trains, (Brian has a huge grin on his face now, sorry) and buildings. I have very mixed opinions on this video. But I am more leaning toward it being fake for a few reasons, this video is very well edited and looks amazing that google would try and make something but, This video was published on March 31st (one day before April fools). With that said I am really thinking that this is all just a big prank. Mr Steltman even showed us, and told us that company's are joining in on April fools day and pranking people (sounds like something is going on). This video is showing exactly that.
This video is fake and those are my reasons

I don't think that this video is real. I mean, a self-driving bike? That can balance itself? The balancing part is what made me not believe it. I AM PRETTY SURE THAT SOMETHING NOT ALIVE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FALL THEN PICK ITSELF UP. And it can see if there's traffic and just stop? Yeah, right. (Also this is unrelated, if this was real, then I think it a waste of money because they should probably use it on something more useful like, solving global warming.) I BELIEVE THA THIS IS TOTALLY FAKE LIKE THE DUDE JUMPING OF AN AIRPLANE AND GOING THROUGH A SMALL HOLE AND LANDING ON A TRAMPOLINE!

I think that Google should probably make something that is actually helpful. Like maybe they could make something that transforms carbon dioxide to oxygen. Or maybe a machine that can make a ton of animals so that we don't have to kill real ones. Anyone of those two is good.

I think this video is fake, I am saying this because... This is something that would take many years to invent. It would also take a magnet that was connected to earth so that if it was pushed it wouldn't fall, as shown in the video. Which is next to impossible to find because the magnet material would be to close to the earths core witch is extremely dangerous to mine. But if this was invented this bike would be SO cool!

I think this video is fake.
I think this video Is fake because first of all when the guy hit the bike and the bike came back up, just tell me how that would happen? What would you have magnets all around the world that can pull your bike up right or there could be strings. If you sat on the bike you would fall over but if you bike doesn't fall over ever then how would that happen even if there were weights inside the bike then they would be to be really heavy weights but then the bike would be too heavy to move.
I think this is fake because it only available on April 1st APRIL FOOLS DAY, and why would it ONLY be available on April first why not available any time.

I think google should create a robot that could be your slave it can do ANYTHING I mean ANYTHING you want it to do.

If this bike was real there would of been advertisements going on for a while before it came out, I would of already heard of it. In the end the date is come out just gives it away ( April 1 ).

I think this video is a fake, because the bike couldn't be balanced definitely by itself, and how can the bike to be controlled if there is mass? However, every mom wouldn’t ever let their children to take the bike to go where they want. But I believe it will be possible to implement in future, just like a robot or auto car which be made using technologies including control, electronic, camera, etc.

I think this self driving bike is fake, but I think it would still be really cool for google to make that bike. One reason I think it is fake is because I can just know when to stop, like when the light changed from green to red it knew what have happened, like how is at possible???? And how can I balance it self? Another reason is the date that I came out on, as soon as I saw that I came out on April fools I knew almost for sure that it was fake. But if this was real it would be really neat, but if they do they would need really high advanced technology and it would take years and years to make.

I think google should invent a robot that does your homework for you. It would come in handy this very moment. I know this kinda sounds lazy, actually it sounds really lazy, but I would put it to good use ad I think a few other people would too. 😜

I think this video is fake because there's no way a bike can balance by itself. For example how would it know if there's traffic and when to stop? And what if there's a road accident? That's why I think this is fake. Although it might become possible in the future. I think Google should make something that reduce air pollution but we can still have transportation and factories.

I don't think this video is real. Firstly the overall design of the bike looks like they just put a security camera on a regular bike, painted it beige and called it a day. secondly the way the bike re stabled itself couldn't be real there must've been some sort of wire or something to keep it balanced.
Thirdly at the end of the video the kid looked at something when taking off her helmet then gave that thing the helmet.
also what DESCENT mother would let their children who are younger than what looks like 5 years old outside on a bike that will take them who knows where and expect them to even come HOME.
lastly and most obviously, at the very end of the video it says ONLY AVAILABLE ON APRIL 1ST!!!!! That is all Thank You.

1st part

I think it is real but just not yet. What I mean is google is working on it still but it will come out. Here's what I think happened google was working on it and April fools day was coming up. So they added a few things to it to make it be a big joke. Now let's see some facts here. when google was interviewing the woman she said my kids go every where in it. Now either she is a REALLY bad parent or that part of it is fake. I would really hope that part is fake because that is some real good parenting skills right there! So that part is fake lets just say what about some other facts? Well if you saw with the coding bit of the video and the blue prints. it looks very promising. Everything looks real so I would think we might see some self driving bikes in our future.

2nd part

I think google should create 3D communication. It might sound a little silly but think about it. In star wars this is the main way of communication. Instead of telling people about stuff on your phone you can show them. This invention will change the world as we know it! it would like your in the room with some one you can touch the image (even though your hand will go right through it) with out the limits of a screen! Just think what movies would be like if your in it! It would show more emotion for the movies when you can stand right beside some one getting killed and have no power to stop it! People would pay so much money to see that! OK maybe the killing part is a bit to much but it would be cool! I think this would be a great idea!

I believe this was a fake video because I don't believe that google or any company has made a stabilizing technology for bikes, on snopes there is an article stating that this video and product is fake, at the end of this video it says only available on April 1st which is April fools day so this is a prank video as many companies near April 1st.

As the years go by technology will get really advanced a technology that would prevent natural disaster for example volcanos, tornados, tsunamis(etc). I know this would be quite advanced technology but I believe over the years this may be capable.

I think this video is fake because this video posted this on april fools day and everybody knows on april fools day it is the day when everybody does all these dumb pranks on you. The other reason how this video was fake because when the person pushed the bike down it stood back up . The only reason the bike could have only gotten back up was if the bike was magnetic . The bike could have been magnetic to a device the man may have been holding or the bike could have been magnetic to the floor like positive to positive or negative to negative. That is why i think this video is fake.
