Amazing Adjectives: Creating a Paragraph Using Our Senses!

Watch the above video at LEAST TWICE! Imagine that you needed to describe this scene to someone who was visually impaired. Write a paragraph describing what happens during the pelican’s first flight. Think of the descriptive phrases that would make this come alive to someone who couldn’t see this themselves. Engage all of the five senses: sight, touch, smell, taste, sound. Take your time with your paragraph; it doesn't need to be long but it needs to have an impact. Each word matters and counts, so take your time and do your best work! I'm excited to read them next Friday.
Your focus needs to be on a proper paragraph with a topic sentence, supporting sentences and a concluding sentence.
Your first sentence could start with “The waves lapped against the boat as the birds chirped in the background.”

How does a person help a pelican learn to fly? First, you can smell the strong dead fish in the air because that is the pelican's favourite food. Next, the taste of the salty water is in the air. Then, I can hear the wings flapping beside me helping the pelican get off the ground. The feeling of soft feathers on my hands when I throw him to the sky. Last, the pelican can see his surroundings flying fast passed him as he flies in the sky. It's amazing how animals and humans have such deep bonds together.

Is the bird going to fly again? Frist,people are runing up and down the beach flaping there arms to try to show the brid how to fly. The brid is siting on a rough wood fence then a preson comes and throws the brid in the air and the brid has a little fly . Last , a bit later the brid is walking in the warm grass and then starts to fly really fast the brid does a big lop around the lake and comes back to the beach .

Would you help a bird the size of me, who swims to an island without his parents? The pelican didn't know how to fly yet, so these kind people taught him how to fly. They ran across the beach, flapping their arms to teach the pelican how to fly. One day, the pelican takes off in flight on his own. He went past at least three other islands and came back to his human teachers. Thanks to these humans, this pelican now knows how to fly.

There is a pelican on a tropical beach that was injured after a storm. He is sad but brave because he lost his family. People tried to help him fly again and they didn't give up. The beautiful strong bird didn't give up either. He now flows over the blue water of the peaceful ocean.

The humans made the bird fly. The humans flapped there arms to help the bird learn the ways of flying. They were learning on the sandy yellow beach. You could hear the waves when they were on the beach. The humans had done it- the bird can now FLY!

The pelican had hurt his wing and couldn't fly. So people came to help him fly again. There is a camera showing the pelican from the end of his beak. He is at the beach. You can hear him flap his wings and he takes off. He flys over the salty smelling sea. He flies over the ocean and turns around and comes back to the beach. Now we know his wings work.

One cold day a peican swam up to shore after a big storm. He had lost his parents and got injured. Some people found him on the beach and helped him learn to fly. First they told him to try and flap his wings but that did not work. So they went around the beach flaping their arms and sudenly he took of and flew! They wher so happy! With out those people he would never would of been able to fly!

The pelican was in a storm and he lost his parents because he got hurt. Then some people found him on the beach and they helped him fly. To learn how to fly they taught him to flap his wings on the beach and then the pelican took off in the sky across the water. The people were happy and then he came back.

The sun was shining on the sand with the birds singing. You can hear the birds wings flapping in the wind when it took off. There was a thunder storm and it lost its parents and then a nice man rescued him and taught him how to fly.

on the pelicans first flight it looked like he felt free and had fun for his first flight. He got to fly around the Island and he flu over the sea. so he probably had a lot of fun. He also seemed pretty confident in him self and proud that he flu all that way without falling.

The man acted as a bird, he spread his arms showed the pelican how to fly. Finally the pelican started flying. The bird got a wing injury. A bird is on a rock. People are making their arms as a bird is flying and running. The bird ran and flew. He was fast. he flew over the water and sand.

How did the pelican fly? One day there was a three man were in a sunny day in the beach was salty then thay found a pelican who got hurt from the storm and lost his parents frist the man act like a bird to show him how to fly. Finally the pelican know how to fly and started flying. Beginning with flying slow above the salty ocean.

A pelican who couldn't fly was swimming to shore, and there were people on that beach. They were trying to teach the bird how to fly like showing him how to flap his wings and adjusting him in flying form. Then the pelican started flying and I was happy for him and in 30 seconds and then came back.
