A SCARY Post!

Apologies for this gross picture. I do think it's scary though!

As we are coming up to a SCARY event this week, I thought I would use this picture of myself from a few years ago to TERRIFY you, and get you into the right mindset for your weekly blog writing. This week you have a choice of what to write about. Using PROPER PARAGRAPH form, you can either write from the perspective of a child going through a very scary haunted house for the first time, or, you can describe the scariest costume you can imagine. The goal for this is for you to practice your descriptive writing and using different, powerful adjectives that will help you TERRIFY your reader. Transport them to the haunted house, or create the costume in the mind so they quake with fear. Good Luck! MWAH-AH-AH!

A scary costume I have actually seen! It was my brothers, he was a zombie! He had a fake iron axe with blood on the blade sticking in his head. He had a fake eye dropping out of its socket with a trail of blood following it down. He had rips in his clothes he had blood soaked into his white shirt. He had blood on the knees of his pants. And he had a friend with him that looked exactly like him!

It was my very first time going for halloween. I was with my big brother and we both had a pillowcase full of candy! "trick or Treat!?" I would say as my brother said "Smell my feet" right after.
My brother was quite tall for his age, he was in grade 5 and I was in grade 3. He was wearing a blue morph suit and I was wearing my Indiana Jones costume. We were walking down the street of BogBlee Dr when my brother spotted a haunted house. By the way my brother's name is Carter and my name is Liam. Anyways, Carter
" C'mon Liam let's go into that haunted house!"
As I started to say "no" I was cut off when Carter ran to the house.
I had to stay with my brother at all times, my parents had said so I had to follow him. As we stared at the horrifying house with gory graves and fake zombies. I wasn't very scared until I saw a signs that kept telling me to "leave now!" and "No trespassing!" "I'm warning you!" All written in fake blood. My brother ran into the door without asking me to go in, I had to follow him. As I walked into the house I had a chill go down my back as I yelled for my brother "Carter! Carter I'm scared! Please!" I heard my words echo boomingly around the house. I was walking around trembling scarcely as I step in some sort of goop. "eeeeeew" I said while I wiped off the goop onto a clean spot as a giant skeleton pops out of nowhere waving it's huge devilish arms. "AAAAAAAAHHHHH" I shriek as it drops to the I froze for a second. A man comes out laughing behind the skeleton. I was terrified and the man kept laughing. I suddenly remembered after a while that it was a haunted house. The man brang me out of the house and gave me the candy. I saw my brother laughing his butt off menacingly as I walked out of the house. "So how was your first time in a haunted house? I could hear the sound of your scream outside of the house waiting for you! In fact I think the in tire neighborhood heard you!"

THE SCARIEST COSTUME EVER!!!!!!!!
The light rose pink ruffley dress that is so flowy that it drapes on the groud when you walk and the glimmering sparkly shoes are so scary that they leave chills down your back the haunting hat with ahhhhh PINK FLOWERS!!!! SO SCARY!! And to add to this terrifying creature called a PRINCESS is wearing glissening sp-sp-sp sparkles in her ghost ish golden hair!
I am so so so sorry if this costume gives you nightmares!

one night on Halloween me and my friend bob went trike or treating. bob was terrified of grave yards so i thought i would prank him. i would do that by putting a blind fold on him and and saying that i would bring him to the best place to trike or treat but i would actually be bringing him to a grave yard. when we got there and i took of the blind fold bob was so scared he wet his pants and fainted. i was laughing so hard but then bob got back up. he looked different, he had red eyes and pale skin. he started to run at me saying give me your soul. i got so scared i ran in the grave yard house. when i got in i saw a bearded man with a lantern and a spear in the other. the man said what are you doing here i told him what happened to bob. after hearing what i said he grabbed my hand and brought me to a room with a metal door. inside was a closet full of weapons and security cameras that watched the front door. i ask him what was going on, he said this place was cursed. what was the curse i ask, the man said every Halloween a ghost comes and poses the first person to touch the property. he said bob could be saved only if he was stabbed in the heart then the ghost would leave his body and and his heart would heal then he would be normal again. when i herd that i took his spear and ran out the door to go and save my friend but before i could go outside he was standing in front of the door. i charged at him with my spear but he broke it. when i picked up the half of the spear with the blade, the stick that was connected to the blade was about the size of my hand. i took the half of the broken spear that still had the blade on it and ran at bob and stabbed the heart. a ghost came out of bob and flew away, bob was on the ground i thought he was dead but he was just passed out. i dragged him home and lay him down on the couch. he woke up and said what happened, i lieded to him and said you passed out after seeing a scary custom. he believed me and said you wanna go trike or treat before its to late because i have to go to bed soon. i said o.k. the end

Walking up to the house, the house everyone talks about, the house only the cool kids go to. Teagan by my side dressed in her vampire costume dripping with fake blood and gore, leaving a trail behind us. She takes out her phone and tells me to go, she was going to film me since Jules was on vacation in Cuba for 2 weeks, I walk up to the gate, slowly advancing, wishing I could sprint home and curl up with my German shepard, Maddy, but no I couldn't chicken out now, not while Teagan was filming. Just than Chase, the most popular guy in school walked up behind me with his girlfriend, Julia VanRavens, the most popular girl at school. In my head I was screaming, If I chickened out now the whole school would know and I would get teased forever, so I walked up to the gate and opened it only to hear the most bloodcurdling screech I ever heard, clenching my teeth trying not to scream I popped a candy in my mouth to help keep the scream in, than I slowly walked forward and saw figures in the mist from the smoke machine walking towards me, hold plastic weapons varying from axes to swords. I quicken my pace a little but not enough to notice. My candy I was sucking on was almost gone and I had to scream so badly so I began to run for the porch and tripped on a loose stone, I could hear Julia and Chase's laughter behind me but I got up and kept running when I got to the porch there was a zombie witch sitting in a rocking wicker chair holding a pot of candy. I got closer and she handed me a paper that said;

To get the candy you must prove your worth and bravery,
walk through the haunted house without a scream or squeal
than you may have some candy

I handed back the paper and she opened the door without taking even the quickest glace at me. I walked into the house and saw bodies on the floor and so much blood, I hope its fake and continue than I saw a faint light through a slight opening through hanging bodies in a spider web, I run jumping over bodies, finding they are made of cotton and clothe. As I run through the web with the bodies I become sticky and slimy as I am sprayed with silly string and I am up to my neck in goo from a dunk tank. Someone helps get me out and I am handed candy, apparently I am the first person not to scream or squeal, the haunted house isn't as much the problem as the dunk tank. I run around the to the front the way the man that hauled me out of the dunk tank showed me hearing Julia and Chase scream. With a smile on my face hurry back to Teagan and tell her what happened and we go to her house for a sleepover, eating most of our candy while watching horror movies before the morning can come, in the morning we eat pancakes for breakfast not that hungry from all the candy we ate.

The scariest Halloween costume would be a costume that was like a skeleton but still fleshy and the nose is small but pointy and has a small red sphere on the end of it so it looks like a creepy clown too and it looks drippy like it is all wet and has come from murky waters.
The costume has sharp claws and wrinkled skin like it hasn't been out of the water in a really long time.
It would also have holes in the face and the body too and it will look like fish have partially eaten the costume.

(Haunted mansion)

I went into the front of the creepy mansion, the cracked windows, the mold growing everywhere, spiderwebs hanging everywhere and a strange red liquid flowing almost everywhere. All my friends were too chicken to go in there, but I wasn't. I'm strong! I knew that those special effects there where just to trick you! I knocked on the door with all my might and stared it down, like I was having a staring contest at the door. I just wanted to get my candy, since this place was big I knew that there would be heaps of candy. I waited a minute, then five, then ten. "Come on!" My friends shouted, "let's go somewhere else!" So we did, and I got sick the morning after.

walking into a haunted house for the first time!
I took my first step in as the wood creaked under my feet I fell down I didn't want to get up I was to scared but as my legs got up I realized all my friends were gone. Sacredly I took another step in hoping my friends would just come back. Is this a joke I thought to myself are they really still here but I didn't know it? I took a big step in and then and there I wanted to run a way but I knew if anyone saw me they would think I was a scarredy cat. As I took one more step in I saw it the most scary thing in the world a goblin eating a lollipop there I was starring at it and as fast as I could I ran away as I was running I realized that I for got my friends. I couldn't turn back so I just went home. Later I went to my friends house to see if they ever returned it turns out they got to scared and they ran away as I fell turns out I'm the bravest. The End

As I knocked very light on the big door with spider weds and creepy craly spiders I walked bake to my friends fast I was about to pee my pants! the door creaked open my friends dared me to go in but I wasn't one to turn down dares, so what do I do... stupidly I went in but I went in proud. I walked up to the door went up the stars and took one big golp! I walk in a and and staged getting puled in! the lady gave me some candy and offered a cooky and milk I ate the cooky but left the milk it makes me gassy, Im lactose and tolerant. as it got darker and later i just alkyd out when no one was looking and went home! and the next day i was so popular for just walking in that house!

My costume last year was a terrifying zombie. It had a mask with dark hollow eyes with blood dripping out of the sockets. The mask also had bloodied bandages around it. The jacket and pants had tears with open gory wounds. The gloves had almost no flesh, all you could see was bruised bones. As for the shoes, they were torn and dirty scuffed up sneakers.

As I lurk through Party City I'm looking for the most scariest, horrendous, make little kids pee when they see me, costume. I couldn't find what I was looking for so I snatched a gallon of fake blood, some fake scars and a few more creepy things and got out, but of course I wasn't looking for "creepy" things I wanted, the most scariest, horrendous, make little kids pee when they see me, costume. The night of Halloween I got dressed in all white, put on a zipped scar that you could see the blood and my skin peeling of with a zipper at the top. I then went outside to my backyard and poured the gallon of fake blood on me then, went inside. Just before 6:00pm, I went outside and set up a table that said
"sorry not home please take one." I then cut out a whole in the candy jar and went under the white table, and when the first kid came to my door I would jump out and say..

BOO, DON'T FORGET YOUR POSINUS CANY, MWHAHAHAHA

My idea of the scariest costume would be this...

Blood that looks slightly like ketchup is running down his horrifing pig like face. His teeth are crooked and in the need of braces. He is called THE MONSTER and he is a truly terrifing creature. White sheets that look like spooky ghosts are surronding him and his nose is a mix between Rudolph's nose and a clown named Bob. His eyes are 2 different shapes while his hand has metallic tinfoil on it to look like hard,cold steel. His shoes are tiny and it is a wonder how his feet fit in them. He smiles his crooked little smile and does the chicken dance around me as the whole world spins and everything fades into black.(and orange because they are the Halloween colours:)

PS.Did you find out who I was?

........ I walked into the house and saw the dead bodies on the floor. The house was well furnished but every thing as covered in blood. There was a pool outside but defiantly not the one I would want to swim in, it was filled with blood and since I read the wall I new that I was to late to save the 100 people whose blood was mixed in the pool. I read further and it said 'watch your back' in blood. I went upstairs and heard a little girl saying '100,100,100,100' again and again. I went up to her and told her that I would get her out of here but she took a rope and took me into the world of darkness, I could here her saying '101,101,101,' as I took my last breath. Then I woke up realizing it was a dream I sighed with relief and went trick or treating with my brother and into the haunted house but I froze I could her a girl and she was not just any girl she was very terrifying.

As i opened the door the creek it made made my heart beat 10x faster not that it was or anything as i took myself into the house the floor was just as loud as the dolr if not louder the bigger noise i made i thought the scary spirits would come get me.I heard a strange noise i thaught it was a cat but i couldnt be sure. (written in the prospective of my littlest sister)
On my first Halloween I went twick or tweeting wif my famowy, my Mum, Dada, Em, Chwis, and Leah. We went to stwange places that i didn't know about and up at evewy door when it was open, Em, Chwis and Leah said trick-or-treat, and they got stwange things. they were caring thees ginormous bags and the person put the things in the bag. suddenly we came up to a welly fwashy stwange place. every one wisperd, Scarsdale Manor. they went inside the stwange place and there was this white stuff all over the place. when we walked abowt 10 steps foward, this huge ting poped out in front of us, it was bwack and ownge wif 8 long tings sticking out of it evewy one jumped and I fwinched. and then my famowy sighed in welef. when we walked for a wittole bit longer we saw some white things, there mowves were hanging wide open and they had these big eyes wif winkles under them. there were more fwekey tings inside then my Dada saw a door and we went outside. I was weleved that I could see clearer now but it was kinda cold, even the fuzzy pink sleeper that had purple wings on the back that my Mum put on me earlier wasn't warm enough. wifout pwotest we went along a path that had white skulls on it. we saw a giant twee that was glowing ownge and had lots of stuff in it. then we finally got to the end and we saw this giwl wif a bucket and again, Em, Chwis and Leah said, trick-or-treat. when we got back to ower shelter mum said, Kate is probably really tired and those were the last words I heard befowre I fell asleep

I think that the SCAREIST Halloween costume is a circus clown.
I think clown costumes are scary because you never know who is behind the make-up. It could be a serial killer and we would never know. A clown's white face and big red nose and exaggerated mouth have terrified children around the world for years.
A clown's supposed to be happy and nice with the colourful make-up and the big red smile but sometimes too nice can be creepy.
Sometimes when you look at a clown you can see the eyes and how piercing they can be. They show up when you least expect it and they hide behind doors and show up in your nightmares and sing a scary song that gets stuck in your head and you can never forget the image in your head of a creepy clown singing LA LA LA LA LAAAA LA and you can never forget it.

That's my SCAREIST Halloween costume!

The scariest costume would be a vicious clown. It would have a blood axe in it's head. There would be sharp, deadly and ugly razor sharp teeth like a white shark. It's eyes would be gushing blood out. The clown would be wearing a black ninja suit, while the pants would be all colors of the rainbow in polka dots.

Humren was in the house, the haunted house. No one was their accept for Humren, and the dead bodies. Humren was dared to go explore the house by his friends that were no longer alive. He got into the kitchen all there was in their were a whole bunch of dead Chuckies lying on the countertop he got a little shiver when he heard a chain saw running and people’s piercing screams, and thats when he turned around. He got to the doors tried opening them but it just wouldn’t budge, and then he heard a faint creaking noise coming from the stairs and thats when he knew he had to make a decision so he ran through the spider webs and then popped into the basement, and locked the door behind him. Im sure that wasn’t the best of his options,but theres no turning back now. He was there in the basement no way to turn back but then he heard the door handle jiggle,but that wasn’t the most on his mind because a splatter hit him a splatter of blood and then in then snap of a finger killer clown was staring right into the depths of his pupils, But then he woke up.

I bring my little brother Luke for trick or treating. We are not going in that spine-chilling hair-raising horrifying haunted house are we he says? I don't answer. I blind fold his eyes and say do you want candy he howls YES i say here is the house i lock the gate behind us. we enter a monster size house with no lights on. My spine chilled the house has 2 windows on the left side the roof looks like a mini jet landing pad and the door looks like it has never been open in 20 century's and then Luke says are we there yet Ethan he tells me. I said yes, the house has a stretched path of black 12x12 stones to the door the house is completely black and the roof has no lights to indicate where the landing pad is.The house seems like is not expecting visitors i wonder if wee should turn back but then there was a giant lock that was shimmering black we were trapped we finally reached the completely black with a picture of a cauldron like it will eat you than knocked because the was no door bell. The door opened by its self i took the blindfolds off of Luke he said does this place give candy? I said yes. I walk in then witches came out of no where and BOO!!!
I shrieked Luke too we climbed up the gate it was slippery black telling you STAY OUT. We darted to our house and we went to the speed of light to our rooms and camouflaged under our covers.
