2022 - What Are You Looking Forward To?

We have been working very hard these past couple of weeks to finish up some major tasks. You have all been working diligently on your creative stories, using the graphic organizers. You also have been practicing long division and becoming masters of division. Additionally, we have been learning all about Canada and what Canada means to us. We also got to take a tour of Canada, and completed our travel passports. You all should be so proud of yourselves! We are coming very close to winter break, only one week left. Winter break is a time where we can relax, enjoy time with family and friends and take a break from all of the hard work we have done this year.
What is something you plan to do over the winter break and what is one goal you have for the new year? Can you believe it is almost 2022? Looking forward to hearing your responses this week!

This week we have been busy learning about the different elements of a story and identifying the different parts of a story. We watched the short-film SOAR, which we all enjoyed as well as on Wednesday we read A Bad Case of the Stripes. During SOAR, we learned that hard work and determination eventually paid off and the plane finally flew into the night sky. After many failed attempts and lots of perseverance, they were able to deliver the star back into the sky. It is important to remember to never give up and persevere through frustrating or challenging times.
Can you remember a time when maybe you wanted to give up, but kept on moving forward and eventually you reached your goal? Maybe this could be during a sport, or an activity in class. Looking forward to hearing your responses this week!
