Bring I.T.
The HDSB supports the initiative of bringing technology from home to assist students in the classroom. Technology plays a large part in my classroom at school and students are welcome to bring technology with them to class. If students choose to do so I recommend:
The HDSB supports the initiative of bringing technology from home to assist students in the classroom. Technology plays a large part in my classroom at school and students are welcome to bring technology with them to class. If students choose to do so I recommend:
- Chromebook: The most practical, cost efficient, and useful technology for students in Grade 6. (Best Chromebooks for Students 2017)
- Laptop: Also extremely effective but can be more costly.
Students do NOT need to bring their own technology to school, and it is at their own risk if they do choose to do so. Please be sure to label any devices that will be sent to school. There will be a lockable cupboard where their technology can be stored when they are not using it.
It is recommended that students use Google Chrome to browse the internet due to its compatibility with the Halton Cloud. If you click the picture, you can download it for free for your home computer.
